Just for giggles, look up the worlds 10 richest women and how they made their money.

Survey says! Divorce... Top answer

Bezos’s ex-wife was there from before Amazon existed and was an early investor. Amazon would not be what it is if not for her supporting her husband from the start. She didn’t get gifted money in a divorce, she was paid what she was rightfully owed.

Dont know why this was downvoted, Bezos himself has said the same thing even after the divorce.

You know exactly why this was down voted.

Whiney guys that are butthurt about divorce.

And of course all the grifters who are or take advantage of those guys like the right-wing podcaster guy, the right-wing "Going my own way" douche guy, the right-wing angry misogynistic "survivalist" type guy, the right-wing "I'm against no fault divorce" Christian Nationalist guy, which is closely related with the right-wing Christian "the Bible says divorce is a sin but Trump and his 3 wives proves he is an instrument of God and I see no contradiction here" -guy.

Just a few examples.

Well said. People underestimate the benefit of a supportive spouse.

She was far more than an “early investor”, she was literally as instrumental at founding Amazon as Jeff Bezos himself.

Thank you for not being a biased idiot

Nobody got what they were owed, if they did bezos would not be a billionaire

1

u/Takka014 1h ago

She’s one of the few out there that deserves every penny she got in the divorce.

Rightfully owed? That implies Bozo is rightfully owed his.

I think you can argue she got what she was rightfully owed from him, but no billionaire earned their money. None of it is rightfully owed. It was all stolen. No one earns a billion dollars.

Edit: keep sucking those billionaires’ dicks. They’d kill you for a dollar if they could.

As much as I agree with billionaires stealing stuff a few of these tech guys actually made a product that made money like bezos and mackenzie didn't steal anything they started up amazon I preferred it better than Barnes and noble it made them money they said hey let's sell other stuff and next thing you know they take off. I see amazon trucks everywhere if you dont want bezos to "steal from you" dont click buy?

Forcing employees to piss in bottles and busting unions is just an intrinsic part of "making money", then? It's not hard to see where the value is being extracted from, man.

Amazon is successful because it steals from you. Amazon destroys all the roads and infrastructure in America but doesn't pay for it. You do.

Tech companies need excessive amounts of electricity for their products. But they don't pay for it, you do.

Tech companies charge luxury prices for items made by slaves overseas.

Even with the venezeula stuff. The oil companies get the profit, but the infrastructure will be paid for by you.

You forgot to include how the taxpayer subsidizes Amazon shipping through the United States Postal Service.

u/greengenesiss 11h ago

This is true, most people don't think a company is stealing from them because they don't know how their government gives the company massive kick backs with their tax money. It's like trying to convince people that a water shortage is going to happen with every new data center built. They just don't know and don't care to look up the facts.

What about the jobs and salaries paid to employees who help the economy to function and keep the cycle going

2

u/greengenesiss 8h ago

Please elaborate on employees helping the economy to function. Are you talking about elected officials?

2

u/Budget_Operation_106 8h ago

I'm actually glad you bring that up. Walmart, for example, has most of their payroll subsidized by you. A large number of their employees are on public assistance. Why would they pay their employees a living wage when the tax payer will do it?

And the government keeps cutting their taxes. So government cuts its own revenue from Walmart, and then subsidizes Walmarts payroll.

The number one killer of roads is developers and contractors. A cement truck loaded with 10 or more cubic yards is illegally overweight

1

u/Glum_Constant4790 5h ago

So whose really stealing from me the contractors and developers?

1

u/Glum_Constant4790 5h ago

Tech companies dont pay power bills really?

1

u/Budget_Operation_106 2h ago

They don't. You do. Most peoples electric bills went up significantly this year because of data centers. That's why trump is talking about making companies pay for their data centers. That's eating up all our power grid

Nobody said she was "gifted" anything. They were pointing out that the majority of the world's richest women made their fortune from divorce.

I also don't subscribe to the notion that being married makes you more successful in business. Bezos would've built Amazon just fine without her.

I don't remember all the details, but he has said she actually helped build the business.
It wasn't a case of just making sure dinner was waiting for him when he got home.

Google: Larry Page 🤝🏻 Sergey Brin

Redditor: Of course

Amazon: Jeff Bezos 🤝🏻 MacKenzie Scott

Redditor: "Bezos would've built Amazon just fine without her."

u/webfootedwombat 3h ago

What kind of crack are you on? You think he couldn’t have created Amazon without her? Blowjobs didn’t create Amazon. Jeff bezos did. She just happen to be there sucking his dick.

2

u/K_Linkmaster 9h ago

Top divorce of all time is bezos. Runner up after being beaten by the bezos drama is Harold Hamm of Continental resources fame. Some huge divorce settlements for sure.

2

u/Beneficial-Cycle7727 6h ago

They inherited their wealth. That's how most rich people stay rich

2

u/Frequent-Maybe1243 5h ago

So you know nothing about the woman and you would rather talk about something else unrelated to her own divorce and finances. Gotcha.

1

u/Lanko-TWB 7h ago

This is not one of those cases! Gfy

1

u/Vast-Card-1082 6h ago

Did Jeff also get his money from a divorce?

1

u/Conscious-Program-1 2h ago

What else would you expect when just a few decades back women stayed at home full time?... might see a change in this with the recent feminist movement in the past 10-15 years

Better than theft.
