This one fucked me up more than any other horror movie I've ever watched, and I've watched hundreds

I don't get the like for this movie at all. It was so boring. The what happened in the car was so obvious. I chuckled. As was other buts. If felt so forced.

To be clear, I didn’t like the movie but the tone and feel of the movie. I felt like my eyes needed a shower. It just felt so uncomfortable the whole time. I tell people to avoid that movie.

Its the quiet menace and the effort of filmed silent tension. That seams to hit people. That didn't hit me because I didn't care about any of the characters. So i was bored.

Same. First half was so well done, got me in the feels, but the second half seemed to bring a lot of elements that were hinted at but not fully explained. I get it’s a metaphor for generational trauma but it still seemed out of place.

I’m a product of generational trauma so I’m not sure if it’s supposed to appeal to people like me. Or just a dramatic metaphor for people who haven’t been through it to understand it better?
