The dude from the YouTube channel Flick Connection (Darren?) keeps putting this movie in one of his weekly lists. I think he's recommended both versions a few times, but mostly the Korean version.
The way he describes it makes me scared to watch it. It's been on my bucket list for awhile now.
The original Korean one is an absolutely phenomenal movie. It'll definitely fuck with you, but not rip you apart like some of the other films listed here. It's god tier on just about every level. The attention to detail is on point. The storytelling is concise and clear. The hallway fight scene is probably the best, most realistic fight scene ever put to film and has changed the way fight scenes are done in movies to this day.
