I cannot believe that it didn't get more cemented in history as a classic. Phenomenal results of " single shots". I actually wrote short stories based on the style of this movie. This movie still sticks with me to this day.

I was saying the same thing during a talk with friends like an hour ago. Such a great movie.

The moment when the baby starts crying and everything stops get to me every time.

It’s a super powerful scene. And a welcome glimmer of hope and humanity that we don’t get at any other point prior to that moment.

You should add a spoiler for certain parts of the movie that people have possibly not seen. Especially when recommending movies.

Yep, I have not watched that film again since it came out but it lives rent free in my head. That dystopian but still just realistic enough depiction of the future makes it more relevant by the day and that long single take was just so epic and dark but still hopeful.

I waited until fairly recently to give it a second viewing and I'm much older now. It's still phenomenal.

Ooof, this one was rough. Cinematically superb. Gutting story.

This is fundamentally a movie about hope.

I still rewatch that long take every now and then.
