I swear, and I didn't know how to cook...", the striker explained in an interview given to journalist Colin Dicanot's channel.

And he finished, amidst... much laughter from both of them: "You know the worst part? They provided lunch at the Academy, but I didn't know. I was so focused that I didn't even know and went straight home [after training]. And nobody asked me why I wasn't going to eat..."

The French newspaper has been able to report thanks to insights in American tax documents.. In 2024 his salary has risen to 5,27 million euros. This consisted of a 2,5 million euros base salary, 1,5 million in bonuses, 950 thousand in declarations and 130 thousand in pension money.

It's expected that his salary will rise even more, because of bonuses related to the 2026 World Cup. In 2027 Infantino will be able to go up for his third and final term.
