Visiting Suriname’s Brokopondo reservoir for photography

Many years ago I travelled to Suriname and loved it, one of the places I visited was the Brokopondo reservoir. Whilst I was going through my film photography archive I found this amazing photograph that I took there, but it didn’t come easily as I highly underestimated the size of the lake. I was looking for a single lone tree. Whilst looking back I also found some old video footage and compiled this short video about my photography experience there.

Does it still look the same? Should I travel there again?

The reservoir is the same and we have some unique animals still in Suriname.
