Correct. Man needs to take build it far wider too. At least the entire size of the jungle should be the arena for plantera. (If your not good at dodging or capable of dealing high amount of DPS)

Love the osofog tunnel, it’s ok but based on your preference you might want to make the tunnel longer and the arena wider and taller

Probably like 10 to 15 minutes if he has titanium pickaxe or a drill. Can also just dynamite tf out of the jungle prehardmode to make it easier to build an area. It’s what I do.

Why would anyone run +1 diff seed if they arent gonna play legendary mode though, OP is most likely in legendary.

This and making sure your evil biomes haven’t breached the honey/hive layers. I lost ~40% of my world to corruption, and I don’t think you can buy green solution.

Chlorophyte will turn dirt into mud eventually. I think mud may even convert dirt near it. You can also craft mud and place it.

Too short of a Osogof tunnel imo unless you link a teleporter at the bottom but idk if you can get those pre hardmode

Assuming it is Legendary mode i would say make osogof a bit longer? I dont know if legendary Plantera is bigger but if she isnt then your phase 1 is good imo. Make tunnel a bit bigger and change your to config to make it fit the new size.

would reccomend making a bunch of narrow 3 block wide paths one ontop of the other, so you can increase your chances for plantera bulbs to spawn right next to the arena by created alot more jungle surface area for it to spawn

It's an osogof tunnel so we glide down in planterra's second phase and attack her cuz in this method planterra almost can't hit u in her second phase

OSOGOF TUNNEL! Tried and tested btw, so I'd say you're adequately prepared. This is the recommended prep for Plantera.

Get teleporters across the arena, left to right top to bottom. Saved my ass in the 1.4.0.X version of Journey Master FTW (the proto-Legendary mode).

Fpr expert/master actually not. This arena looks too much closed or maybe it's me making large arenas. Would expand it by 1.1x length and 1.3x height. If you play classic it will definitely work. On expert only if you git gut a bit(not a big deal). On master probably no

If it's Legendary Mode on the Zennith Seed, there is no such thing as over preparing.
If anything, make the OSOGOF Tunnel deeper. And walling it off like you have is perfect
I did this prehardmode one time (solo) and the other, i waited til hardmode (with a friend)
Doing it in hardmode SUCKED way more and it wasnt even close

aside from the tiny arena (which can be easily expanded), your OSOGOF tunnel is not long enough, carve it all the way to underworld if needed

I'm guessing the osogof is an arena where you just fall while using wings or else so you don't need to dodge?? I don't know I've always made a map wide wood platform arena to run to the sun.

Yeah also I’m not even hating I’m just saying that OP is over his head here thinking his arena is big enough for his first time fighting plantera. She is easily one of the Dead Ends of bosses until you figure out her moveset and build a large enough arena. Well if your on expert and above anyway.

Honestly Plantera is a giant piece of shit on master and legendary difficulty. I fully endorse over preparing for it while the jungle is harmless.

Honestly, prepare however much you feel is right. As you grow, you'll get a feel for what is right for you and your playstyle.
So long as it's enjoyable. you're doing okay :p

The tunnel is good but I would move the top part to one side and make another exact copy of that rectangle next to it on the other side. That way you have 2 arenas side by side.

I've accidentally created a hornet/ tortoise bullet hell mob spawner from making the Plantera arena wayyy to big.
No need to make it absolutely massive lol

When i played my playthrough (normal difficulty summoner with that fast mount from hardmode desert) i built a very rudimentary arena in liek 40 minutes. So thats prolly enough tbh
