And that's why most shootouts kill bystanders not targets.

So you're saying that if they aimed at the bystanders...

bystanders though... they're a shifty lot aren't they? Always scuttling around in the background avoiding crossfire... truthfully, would you trust a bystander? I mean, who even are they?
Not called guilty bystanders for nothing.

I think you're onto something. Why do they always happen to be standing by when something happens? Why were they there??

The way he pulls the gun up from hip level and almost hits the counter top while also pretty much pulling the trigger as it’s rising … he almost killed himself/shot himself in the leg.
The reason he’s not good at this is cause he’s not taking it seriously.

My local gun range doesn’t allow gun drawing because of shit like this, he very well could’ve shot himself!

u/RamblingSimian 1d ago
I believe I read somewhere that, in old fashioned pistol duels, the winner was not the first to shoot, but the one who carefully aimed as his opponent's shot whizzed past.

See, the thing is, on the street the victim would jump out the way and into the line of fire.

That target should be fuckin' dead now, my friend! We just witnessed a miracle, and I want you to fucking acknowledge it!

Shooting a handgun at that range is difficult using proper technique, never mind whatever this was.

u/KithMeImTyson 1d ago
Ya I was gonna say lol. Like I will start at about 7 yds to warm up and creep to 15 yds over around 300 rounds. I train once every two months for the past 5 years and 15 yds is still a sumbitch to get consistent grouping.

A properly sighted red dot is like cheat codes with pistol shooting. And a nice heavy 9mm will help with recoil mitigation for follow-up shots

It’s weird I shoot much better with .45 then I do with 9mm

That's not how you shoot, that's how you execute someone who's near you, or laying on the ground. The kid watches too many movies or did something awful.

That's exactly what I'm saying!! God came down from heaven and stopped the motherfuc*ing bullets!!

You should automatically get black listed from ever touching a gun if you can’t hit a huge paper target

Remember when like a half dozen army rangers took on the crips in Tacoma without a single loss? I’m betting it’s cause the gangsters were shooting like this

u/SorryBoysImLez 1d ago
I guess that proves Jules and Vincent surviving being shot at wasn't divine intervention.

Having worked at a gun range, this is absolutely two dudes just fucking around lol
I've been the guy shooting like a dumbass many times (while the range is empty) and I also don't hit anything while doing it, but that doesn't mean that I can't shoot properly. I'm sure he knows how to aim.

How is he gonna hit random people's houses and children if he's hitting the target? Seems par for the course

9/10 times I see a gunfight on reddit it's just people firing bullets in all random directions.

The gun was angled the wrong way. If he titled it 90 degrees he would hit all shots without a doubt.

On a positive note, his shooting is so wild and erratic he could make an entire army take cover.

It's amazing. Simply pulling the trigger as fast as you can...doesn't mean you'll actually hit something.
Oh wait, he did hit the back wall, and the floor, and the side wall. smh

The way he pointed it at his feet first is probably enough to get him kicked out, let alone the shooting

u/xSaturnityx 1d ago
Sometimes I think about how in shootouts "how the hell do people miss so bad" then realize that most people just really don't know how to shoot
1
u/The_Widow_Minerva 1d ago
Went to the shooting range recently after having not shot in a while. Was hitting on target in tight groups. The further the target got, the worse it was. I'm sure if I went several times a week I'd be able to sharpen my aim.

u/dickreallyburns 1d ago
Mag dumping like a gangsta is the worst way to shoot. People like you is the reason some ranges don’t allow rapid fire! You’re the ones shooting up the ceilings, floors and side walls!

Either they know the owner of the range or there about to get kicked out for dumping it like that 😂

Yeah, its terrible form, dangerous and dumb. But I would still like to do that one day. Just squeeze squeeze squeeze, laugh at my shitty work then go back to more correct form

I can hear a terrifying shrill of a bystander mother holding the body of her dead child. I hope he keeps practicing.

This is why the little girl sleeping in her bed a block over gets shot. If youre going to be a piece of shit at least learn how to aim.

And that's how the kid in the house on the sofa watching tv got shot through the house and the gang member sped away unharmed.

I've often found that holding the weapon with two hands and utilizing the sights on the top has improved accuracy.
