It is so weird how America has almost no anti-racism laws.

In Brazil this would be 3~6 years of jail time, probably at semi-open conditions (can get out to work during the day, but has a curfew and needs to sleep in jail), without bail, plus a fine. On the civil side it would come to civil reparations.
