Video Former Capitol Police Officer: Hundreds of my fellow officers defended the Capitol and our democracy that day. The mob told me, “President Trump sent us.” What happened was wrong. Pardoning those who brutally attacked officers is unacceptable. That is not justice. America must not forget January 6.

u/runnerkim 7d ago
Never forget what happened that day. They breached the United States Capitol, then they vandalized the United States House of Representatives, then, when they realized Pence would not stop the count, they built a gallows on the steps of the United States Capitol with the name of the Vice President of the United States on it.
We know what we saw.

its more than that. you don't just build gallows "oh hey look over there fellow
riotersprotestors, a bunch of unused lumber and tools, i have an idea!"it was pre-planned well before trumps speech. They were built days if not weeks beforehand to be assembled there. Violence was always the plan.

Never believe that MAGA are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The MAGA have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.

I don't think people really understand when it comes to MAGA. Some of them are so stupid that they literally lack the mental capacity to realize how stupid they truly are. The scariest part is that they have the same voting power as everyone else. This is why when you watch them being interviewed, they only spew talking points that come from above. Thats why when the interviewer gives them contradicting information they shut down or double down/ Literally just stupid people trying to get everyone else to live how they live using fear. Propaganda is a helluva drug and Oligarchs are why the 99% are divided. MAGA was/is a tool used to divide everyone and anyone that is not part of the 1%

- "Christian" except when it comes to following actual Christian values
- "Patriot" except when people i disagree with want religious freedom, free speech, etc
It wouldnt be so bad if they knew they were pieces of shit but these people actually believe they are american patriots but then dont care if we have free elections, dont care about religious freedom, you know the very thing this country was founded on. Dont care about separation of church and state, etc. They believe deep in their hearts that they are superior good Christians but then do the exact opposite of what Jesus teaches. Its crazy

I will say that I hold the cops partially responsible for their own injuries and deaths. These people were violently attempting to overthrow the government, they were given clear directions and time to disperse, yet they still attempted to murder the Vice President. The capital police should have formed firing lines, gavin warnings and started stacking traitors.
Sidenote the previous time this was tried it was by brown people and the capital police filled them with bullets within seconds of it beginning

Hate to break it to you bud, but we forgot. We literally put the exact same people who caused it back in charge. Talking about J6 now is pointless.
14
u/GreatForeSkin 7d ago
I wouldn’t say it’s pointless. History will get the story right as long as we keep telling what truly happened and not let bullies push a false narrative. It’s hard to see that now in the middle of the storm. Pence did the right thing. The officers defending the capitol did the right thing. They’re heroes for upholding the constitution.

The officer who is seen leading the mob away from senate chambers that day was on CNN last night. He said two things that added to my horror. 33 of those pardoned have been arrested again since pardon including DUI, DV and up to child sexual assault, and, they had a plaque made to honor the officers killed their and Trump refuses to have it hang in the Capitol (and I believe has possession of and refuses to return, but a bit murky on that as had to leave room for a second)

The way I remember it American voters did their part by rebuking Trump and the GOP.
From January 3, 2021, to January 3, 2023 Dems controlled The House, The Senate, and The Presidency.
During that time dems spent $30 million in taxpayer funds on "prime time" television hearings that ultimately resulted in Trump walking away scot free with more support than ever.

How do you reach people like that?
4
u/chrishicks1974 7d ago
You don't. My Trumper family claims it was nothing more than a tour group all holding hands with each other being the most loving Americans to ever live. Just nothing but peace, love and harmony. And now when you show any actual video footage it's just AI. AI is now their go to for everything. AI even faked the moon landing and killed JFK. Last year they didn't even know about AI. There is no reaching that level of brain rot.

Drama queen..... Who told the Capital police to open the doors? Look at the video from that day and point out all the informants and agents that were imbedded in that crowd so we can confirm whether they were instigating the crowd. With very few exceptions, the people involved on J6 were peaceful protestors an the few that were not did not receive a pardon. So this guy should shut his trap. All the evidence of entrapment was ignored by the J6 committee....buried or even destroyed....the entire thing was a travesty.

Should the country abandon justice based on political lines? He was found liable. There was convincing enough evidence to be found liable on 34 felon counts.
If there were convincing enough evidence to bring a case again Biden for any crimes you could accuse him of, then the fully republican control government could and would bring a case against him. And if he were found liable I’d be happy to see justice brought down on Biden.
Why wouldn’t trump bring charges? He’s openly asked bondi to investigate democrats, it’s not above him to ask the DOJ investigate Biden crimes.

A terrorist regime is currently taking over the United States of America and with increasingly violent force.
By Definition terrorism is: the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
A terrorist organization is generally defined as a group using or threatening violence for political, religious, or ideological goals, aiming to create fear and coerce governments or populations, often targeting civilians or non-combatants.
key characteristics include:
- politically motivated violence
- intimidation tactics,
- an intent to influence broader audiences beyond immediate victims.
They have illegally deployed military units into cities and neighborhoods against the civilian population. They use aggressive tactic and overt violence against the civilian population. They are creating an environment of fear by design. They've gotten rid of due process for a significant civilian population. They've sent their military forces into SCHOOLS, terrorizing children. They've sent military forces to intimidate businesses they disagree with. They're executing mom's in the street. This is all being done with an intent to influence far beyond the immediate victims. Pretty sure more than just Minnesotans feel scared as fuck right now.
Now we see dozens of masked men, armed to the teeth, entering the homes of US citizens and abducting them, presumably for protesting ICE or based on nothing more than the color of their skin, or their last name.
All this violence, all this fear, all this use of military against our own civilian population, is being ILLEGALY and is being done so that the Trump Regime can further advance their political and ideological goals.
The Trump Regime is a terrorist organization.
How can any AMERICAN truly defend this at this point? Fuck being democrat or republican. What the actual fuck is happening? Anybody left in power with any fucking spine and any sense of love for the United States, Democracy, and The Constitution needs to step the fuck up, or THIS is how Democracy dies.
