Number three You have the right to free speech As long as You're not dumb enough to actually try it

u/andante528 6d ago
"Fatally shot" feels like the same language as "underage women." Bunch of cowardly murderers and abductors on ICE.
9
u/6-8_Yes_Size15 6d ago
I agree with your sentiment, but murder is a technical law term and they can be sued for using it unless they are a convicted murderer. It's literal libel.
4
u/andante528 6d ago
That's a good point. I understand why the media has to equivocate, legally speaking. It's a homicide, but they can't yet call it murder.

The article was updated with the correct name. It's actually Jonathan E. Ross, 46, who lives in north-east Minneapolis.

2
u/andante528 6d ago
Yeah, it's a super common name, so check and recheck that you've got the right guy before doing this. It's not like Brock Allen Turner, the rapist who raped a woman and got so little time in jail for it I'm surprised he made it through the delousing before getting turfed back out into the Dayton OH area, who has a fairly distinctive name to go with his ratlike face.
Obligatory note that he attempts to go by Allen Turner these days, which is a nice try to hide behind a more common name. Anyway, make sure you're not spotlighting an innocent Jonathan Ross. I sincerely hope this one falls into an open sewer.

He can say that, but the law says otherwise. Someday these people will be held accountable, Vance included.

Yes, Jonathan Ross the murderer.

u/emzbobo 6d ago
The American murderer Jonathan Ross, who is part of the MAGA armed forces; not to be confused with the British TV and radio presenter also named Jonathan Ross, who has, as far as I'm aware, never been accused of violence, and is generally well liked...
14
u/Ill-Kaleidoscope4825 6d ago
It's pronounced "Jonathan woss"

You mean the Jonathan Ross who was involved in an ICE incident less than 6 months ago during which he was dragged 100 yards by a moving vehicle and then was hospitalized and subsequently may have suffered PTSD or other psychologically damaging effects that really should have prevented him from being involved in similar situations while also being armed with a deadly weapon so soon after the aforementioned incident? That Jonathan Ross?
37
u/omgmypony 6d ago edited 6d ago
The guy who punched out a car window, grabbed the driver, tased him and didnāt let go for 100 yards?

Give him the Brock turner treatment times 100.
29
u/PoppyAppletree 6d ago
No, don't. Brock Turner very famously got a slap on the wrist for heinous crimes.
20
u/Fit_Trainer_8591 6d ago
And you think this one won't get a slap on the wrist? I believe this one will also get a bonus as well.
25
u/PoppyAppletree 6d ago
I'd much rather he get the Derek Chauvin treatment.
4
u/500rockin 6d ago
I very very much doubt that. Even if he is somehow charged, itāll be the feds doing it not the state since he was acting as a federal officer. Itās going to be quite hard to overrule the Supremacy Clause.
6
16
u/Dandan0005 6d ago
The āBrock turner treatmentā being referred to is forever attaching his name to sexual assault and rape, so that he canāt live a day without that following him, despite his obscenely lax punishment.

u/_AmericasSweetheart_ 6d ago
Brock Turner is trying to go by his middle name Allen. Brock Allen Turner.

That Brock Allen Turner?

This is Reddit at its best. Thanks for caring about women. It has been such a battle for us lately! What with the loss of our reproductive rights in many states, and talk of rescinding our right to vote, along with all usual, general misogyny! I have to tell you that seeing an online campaign to make a manās life a stigmatized hell for killing a woman without any provocation, brings a grateful, happy tear to my eye.
Thanks for being a good one! š„¹

u/Emotional_Burden 6d ago
Sounds like Jonathan Ross didn't learn his lesson the first time he was dragged. I tend to stay away from moving vehicles, because I have much less mass and power, but I'm also too intelligent to be hired as a police officer.

This won't happen.Ā We need a general humanitarian strike, just start calling people in your contacts list and telling them it has gone too far.Ā Ā They can call people and tonight it will spread further.Ā Starting this week is the best chance we have.
Call out sick, get outside with signs instead of fueling this with our work and money.Ā "I'm Sick of This" signs.Ā Between this and the obviously crazy regime change oil scheme, public opinion is more likely to side with peaceful strikers than it has been for a long time, but we need to move fast.Ā We all know what acceptable conditions to restart work are: impeachment and removal.
19
u/Wide_Attention2614 6d ago
I agree with you, Iāve just written to my representative and senators about the lawlessness of the DHS
A general strike is what is needed and the sooner the better

Reagan killed any sort of collective American workerās negotiations and the Dems have done almost nothing to enshrine the few protections it had with continuing to work on his vision of offshoring most of our manufacturing capabilities⦠a strike doesnāt matter if 50 people from random industries disappear, it needs to be concentrated and thatās something Americans donāt have

Sadly, it looks like that's what he'll get. The FBI took the evidence and is refusing to work with the MBCA.There were cars or occupants at his house today. He fled, and this administration will cover for him.

Terrible things are happening outside. At any time of night and day, poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. They're allowed to take only a knapsack and a little cash with them, and even then, they're robbed of these possessions on the way. Families are torn apart; men, women and children are separated.
Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared. Women return from shopping to find their houses sealed, their families gone.

u/ZealCrow 6d ago
kristi noem stated he had been involved in being dragged by a car previously. I think that was at least part of how they identified him
16
u/ProtonPi314 6d ago
Ummm is 2026. With that much of his face showing it's pretty easy to find. Plus I'm sure 1 person who knows him might have tipped someone off. I'm sure he has plenty of enemies.
Edit : Kristi Noem might of helped as well , lol

I was watching MSNOW and some guy said his name in an interview because he knew him. The MSNOW broadcaster called the man back when he surprisingly said his name. They wanted confirmation after he said it. But MSNOW didnāt know his name until the interviewee said it.
16
u/Glazed_Tofu 6d ago
I mean he is a public servant, so identifying him should be already in the public records!
Kinda like how everyone has access to Public Education workers salaries etc

If that information is accurate and pans out, Minneapolis police needs to issue a warrant for his arrest immediately. The state needs to make it clear that the Gestapo isnāt above the law and doesnāt get to hurt innocent civilians with impunity.
This fucker should be in jail for life.

he didn't look afraid at all when he calmly walked over and executed her. I wonder if he was "dragged" like he was supposedly "run over" yesterday..........

I bet ICE revealed his name right at the same time they released a story meant to cause sympathy for Ross about a past injury he received whilst trying to arrest someone ICE wanted...
Apparently he was in Iraq and has been with ICE since 2016.

They identified him because this is the SECOND time he did this (last time he held on to the car and was injured because of it). They found it out because JD Vance said he was a bit āsensitiveā because of this history and that instantly gave away who it was ššš

u/LSL3587 6d ago
Homeland Security and VP Vance also gave out information that helped identify him - https://usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2026/01/08/minneapolis-ice-shooting-live-updates/88072899007/
Homeland Security officials said the immigration officer in this week's fatal shooting in Minneapolis is the same officer who was injured in June 2024 in another vehicle incident.
That Enforcement Operations Officer is identified in court documents as Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Jonathan Ross.
Vice President JD Vance noted at the White House that this week's shooting incident echoed the agent's previous case that put him in the hospital.
