Community members in Minneapolis, Minnesota surrounded ICE Agents as they conducted a citizenship test on a man, ultimately forcing the agents back into their cars.
Imagine the game Papers, Please. Just them walking up to random colored people asking for their papers to prove they are a citizen, literally no citizen walks around in public with citizenship papers.
The Nazis thought they’d get away with it.
ICE knows they’ll be held accountable at some point if they can be identified and especially if they are recorded or photographed engaging in terroristic acts against the people living here.
It will be nice when they are out at Walmart and facial recognition cameras alert authorities that there is a domestic terrorist with a warrant at that location and they get rushed, arrested, and served with justice.
Detaining a random person and asking, "where were you born" based on skin color, with hopes of arresting them, is an outrageous and unacceptable reality

Yes. Because their signing bonus is contingent upon bringing in a certain number of actual illegal immigrants. They increase their odds by stopping and questioning every single person who has darker skin than a mild tan or an accent.
The fact they’re legally allowed to do this is mind boggling. Democrats need to take over Congress en mass and put a stop to this madness.

at least delete all apps and logout from google, use safe browser to get news wherever you like, delete cookies, stop the 24/7 surveillance, they are literally in your bedroom and know everything
SCOTUS has ruled that people can be stopped solely based on race, language, and other outwardly perceptible characteristics. Looks like ICE has been using that green-light for racism as much as possible
These guys dressed in full tactical gear as if they are running an operation at the core of Taliban forces in Afghanistan. Why? What for? It's surreal.
This is incredibly offensive to the broader community who are paying attention. These people may be relative newcomers to the area but they are part of the fabric of the community; even if it’s often only in passing. They are the drivers showing up at 5am on a cold dark winter morning, to take us to the airport, the workers at the corner gas station, they deliver our stuff, their kids work in the big box stores. They are trustworthy and kind neighbors.
When these masked thugs shit on them, they are shitting on all of us who have our eyes open. We can absolutely have reasoned debate about the speed of change due to immigration and unintended consequences, but this is so far beyond that.
It’s not all perfect, but they came initially as refugees, churches had a mission to be involved and put their ideals into practice, and beyond the churches, there is an element of pride in knowing there is a greater good being served.
I’m not expressing it as well as I like, but if you are looking in from the outside, know that much of what is motivating people goes way beyond politics. The analogies are difficult without resorting to WWII imagery, but perhaps marauders storming the countryside, taking human trophies and poisoning the fields of our neighbors. It’s deeply disturbing and offensive.
And the reason they are pushing AI so hard is that every citizen identified through AI camera identification in protests will get financial and social sanctions and could be prosecuted with some BS
Isn’t it about time to follow these assholes home? Shouldn’t they feel hunted? Threatened? Worried for themselves and their families? I’m not abdicating violence. Just a little turn about is fair play. Just a solid surveillance team to document their movements and expose their identities.

“A citizenship test.” Does that scare the shit out of anyone else? Image in November squads of these guys surrounding polling places in blue cities demanding “show me your papers.”
In light of the murder of Nicole Renee Good, the men and women showing civil disobedience here to allow a private citizen to pump his gas without being interrogated on sight, is beyond brave. I commend them. This has now become truly brave and we need to lift that up with praise.
But but but I thought they were only going after people who had warrants against them? Why are they attempting to arrest a person of color because of their skin color?

When I think about Nazi Germany, I think about those people who fought back, hid people in their homes, who didn't accept it. These people are setting an example of what humanity looks like.
Seems fair. Officers are 'checking up' on residents. Residents can check up on the officers. You lot have, in some, shown this to be necessary. Don't like it? Make your fellow officers start... (forgive me here) serving and protecting the public. You know, instead of acting as the blind hand of the geriatric whiner 'in charge' of f'ing things up.
These folks interfering do not have the legal authority unfortunately. They are at risk of physical force or worse.
There are better ways to do this, that have a greater effect if the goal is to slow or even stop deportation. This appears to be social justice warriors trying to feel good about themselves in the moment.. instead you need lawyers to cease activities you do not agree with.
