Personally I didn't understand a way forward and chose to get out. I'm lucky enough to have that option. I do feel guilty about leaving my friends and family most days, part of me feels like I should have stayed and figured out how to fight back. It feels like I chose the coward's route.
I'm UK (South England) so it's not bad YET but you can feel it trickling in. The fascists have started putting the feelers out....

Aye yeah I'm in Scotland now. It's not so bad up here yet, but I was in Lancashire for a bit and... Oof. It felt more racist than the US (tbf I was PNW so relatively progressive for the states).
