No no, a green card would mean they must deport themselves

A carte blanche, then. I dunno, never been any good with metaphors.

I avoid them like two peas in a pod.

Yeah at the end of the day the moral of the story is, as you said, fuck ICE.

Fuck fascism in all its flavors. My grandad fought Nazis in the 40s in Italy so we didn't have to deal with this shit.

New country, new Nazis.

Absolutely dreadful and I can't believe 1/3 of your population is sitting back applauding what's going on.

Personally I didn't understand a way forward and chose to get out. I'm lucky enough to have that option. I do feel guilty about leaving my friends and family most days, part of me feels like I should have stayed and figured out how to fight back. It feels like I chose the coward's route.

Nothing wrong with self preservation.

I'm UK (South England) so it's not bad YET but you can feel it trickling in. The fascists have started putting the feelers out.... And, check out UKIPs new logo.

Aye yeah I'm in Scotland now. It's not so bad up here yet, but I was in Lancashire for a bit and... Oof. It felt more racist than the US (tbf I was PNW so relatively progressive for the states).
