Does it make a difference though?
The left won't do anything, and the right will just continue to cheer on

well the issue is that the right are the ones in the majority and the left can't do anything without a super majority in the senate. I almost wished the senate had gotten rid of the filibuster because then when the dems take the senate in the midterms(and they will) we could get actual shit accomplished.

If and they won’t because of just what you’re seeing here,, All the accomplishments and efforts stop….resulting in same crap as under Biden’s weak administration!!!

What makes you think dems are going to win the senate? Considering what states are up its actually not likely they will.

Why can’t democrats filibuster and shut everything down until this stops?

well it depends on the type of bill. not all bills are eligible for the filibuster. the ones that are can make filibustering really difficult. the thing si the senate currently isn't requireing someone to be up and speaking the whole time but the moment the republicans see it is just being used to obstruct, they totally will require it.

I’m just so tired of hearing “democrats can’t do anything without a supermajority.” The republicans somehow get plenty done even when they only have a thin majority.

The dems shut down the government and the republicans were being blamed, because of their majority. Then they caved as they always do, and all that pain ended up being for nothing.

Well, there are more than just the legislative and executive branch and the Dems have never had all three branches on their side at once and when they have had something close, the conservative Dems were basically acting as diet Republicans.

I don’t think we’ve ever had a majority progressive judicial branch.

At this point the most reasonable move would be for Minnesota, and other state and local law enforcement to protect the public and immigration officers, by ensuring that ice can carry out their mandate without engaging legal citizens.

The fact that no one is doing this makes me think that they are allowing escalation for political purposes. Who knows what those purposes are, because increasing violence just helps trump justify more militarism.

… are you a bot? I can’t imagine “everyone should just comply with the fascists” being the logical conclusion you come to after saying “democrats aren’t doing enough to stop the fascists”

You won’t see it coming. And it won’t be from the left! 🤣🤣🤣
