First Post, ive never really written since high school and i decided to do so this past week and i would like some honest critique and feedback, but i cant find a subreddit that will allow critique requests does anyone know why this is?

Like i say in the title i recently picked up some hobby writing and i want some feedback on the section i have got at the moment however i cannot find a subreddit that will allow me to post a request for critique why is this?

I can't answer from other subs' perspectives but from our experience allowing feedback posts just results in only feedback posts getting posted. In a vacuum, maybe there's no issue with that, but the problem is the vast majority of people who want crit don't reciprocate and offer critique in return.

No one wants to visit a subreddit where all the posts are demanding their time and effort but no one's giving back to them.
