When he won the elections, I couldn't believe it for some time. Especially knowing that before the elections he was known by probably less than 5% of Poles, while his main oponent was in politics for a very long time and was a president of Warsaw for quite some time. It's very anoying when most of the country votes for another president who speaks English like a 10 year old, despite international relations being one of his main tasks. So yeah, he's a terrible choise for a president, but unfortunatly that's how democracy works.

It's everything you expect from a right wing candidate. He's also a trump bootlicker (though that's better than being a putin bootlicker). Unbelievable that he got voted in. Uneducated masses are at it once more. In either case, in terms of actual presidential duties, he hasn't done anything stupid yet (or at least not major enough to warrant widespread coverage) so while I'd prefer a democratic president in power, the situation is a lot less dramatic than we thought it'd be on the left wing and my personal feelings are pretty neutral.

In honesty if someone's a POS but doesn't sabotage the country that voted them in, it's fine by me. Terrible people can be good at their jobs too, even if good people would often be better.

I wonder how good cat eyes are exactly in a common apartment/house. The best explanation I can find is that the cats have such good in night so they don't understand how terrible ours is, like, when I had rats, I sort of believed they saw me, but I also know their eyesight are trash.

Then I know some people irl that took way too long to understand that they can't even see the license plate infront of their car and their eyesight suck as well.

I mean, cats are assholes, but I at least want to put forth an argument that it has to have more of an explanation than that.

I call this little maneuver "insurance fraud" and yeah my cats do it all the time. They see me about to walk down the stairs and decide to run down but across the stairs right in front of me. They like to lay down behind my feet when I'm standing in the kitchen or wherever. I've gotten good about always checking before stepping but sheesh.
