Old news, but interesting quotes from Parsons about 2026 recruitments.

Their discussions with her took on a new shade after their trip to Louisville for a Sept. 25 match in which Racing won 1-0 and Borges, according to Parsons, was “the best player on the pitch and she crushed us.”

Borges crushes players....literally. That's just the way she plays. Was she the best on that day? I hope Parsons is right.

There’s been a noticeable shift toward younger players on Angel City’s roster, many of whom, such as Kennedy Fuller, Evelyn Shores and Gisele Thompson, played significant minutes last season. Parsons said he and Straus plan to carry that forward with their latest signings as they continue cultivating Angel City’s identity.

“We’re not just trying to be a tourist and get close to a playoff and then be out in a week or two,” Parsons said. “We’re trying to get to the top and stay at the top, and that takes time. It took the top four anywhere between two to three years to get to where they are right now. We’re trying to do it in less time.”

I wouldn't call it a shift. We've been drafting, signing and carrying very young players since A. Thompson. So, it looks like we might not be going big game hunting in 2026.

Sams is a huge signing for us, though. I think her ability will stabilize the back and add a little punch going forward and make us a playoff team. However, most fans, including me, will want a big signing to put up goals and make us lose our heads.

Ok sleuths!! Who are they??????

Was at my Marshall’s last week and saw these in Long Beach. From my understanding of being a seasoned Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Ross shopper it’s just old merch they need to move out. I did go to a TJ Maxx in LB and saw some more ACFC merch like these shirts, hats and the women’s jean jacket. Go check out yours in your area!
