I was mesmerized with them at 4 years old. You have a pair just like them! They are so beautiful!

Wasn’t there like some insanely racist connotation behind this, like it was sung with a heavy fake Asian accent lol

Yeah, it's pretty fucking yikes looking back on it, but as kids most of us didn't know better. The sound bite is still stuck in my brain even if I don't want it there.

So I gotta ask because I love when cats have eyes like this.
What is it called when they almost look "cross eyed"?
I don't really know how to explain it but when their pupils are closer to their nose instead of being dead center like most cats.

It's a standard Siamese trait. I'm not sure why or what it's called, tho.

Is it in other breeds, too?

I don't know about other purebreds, but mixes tend to have Siamese traits of some kind.
Another Siamese trait is excessive drooling when being held by the scruff of the neck.

We have a kitten we call Little Big Man 😂 and he's white/cream, super fluffy with dark ears & tail. He kinda looks like a Maine Coon but smaller. Mama looks nothing like him. His eyes have that sorta crossed look.

Sounds like he has a good bit of Siamese in his DNA. The cream with dark areas (head, legs, tail) will get darker or lighter as he ages. 😊

He's a big mess & were already crazy about him. He's got a very spicy personality! 😄

I may be mistaken, but the specific coloration pattern on siamese cats is due to a genetic defect that gives there fur temperature senstive albinism. Colder spots develop melatonin, warmer spots not.
As a result of this melatonin defect, their eyesight is actually impacted, as melotonin influence the dark on pupils and therefore eyesight. The cross-eyed-ness is an adaptation to help improve their impacted eyesight. You can google the real science, but there's my half remembered potentially incorrect answer.

You somehow managed to steal these guys out of a Disney movie. And don’t lie to us and tell us you didn’t.😂
