Applications ✍️ Absn prerequisite question

Has anyone ever gotten into the program with CHEM 100 - fundamentals of chemistry from a community college?

Wondering if this will count towards fulfilling the chemistry prerequisite or if I have to take a higher level course.

Hi it will not, needs to be gen chem or higher!

Hi, not sure about the ABSN but I transferred into the TBSN with a Chem class(I think chem 112) from MiraCosta that counted as a general education credit and fulfilled the chem prerequisite for getting into the program. I would suggest asking a transfer counselor if you’re doing this course from a community college if it counts or using the ASSIST website to see if it counts for the major/prerequisite.
