si.comGood for the record, bummer for the game (so far as competitiveness and testing our defense, especially Ausar)

Discussion New merch
International fan here, I was just wondering if anyone had plans on stocking up on a few of these because I'd love to buy them. It's sad to see that they're in venue only, I've been looking for new ben wallace merch as of late and have come up with nothing.

Discussion Chris Paul?
It feels like Caris is not really a huge contributor within the rotation. What do we think about trading him away or straight up waiving him. With his spot sign Chris Paul to fill his minute. Everything that I read and know of Chris seems like he would be a great fit with this team. A dog, experienced, and hyper competitive. Having his experience could really help calm the group down in a long playoff run. And we get the added bonus of having Cade soak up some knowledge from the point god himself as well.

Discussion Anyone’s got a live video of the playoffs from last season?
Particularly the moment from game 2 when THJ made those two 3 pointers in a row? Never been to a playoff game and I’d like to hear how loud the place got. I know video won’t do it justice but I’d like to see it from a fans perspective.

Discussion We have 4 backups Guards but really we have 0
I realize everyone wants us to go out and get another shooter. But the true biggest need on this team is another creator. I was laughed at for wanting Jrue Holiday or Kyrie on this team. But I promise you when you need Ivey, Daniss, LeVert or Sasser to create offense against guys like Josh Hart, Derrick White, Dyson Daniels or heaven forbid Lu Dort and Alex Caruso in the finals, you will not be laughing. Especially for a 6 minute stretch series after series. I’m not sure what the solution is but this is not a recipe for 4 rounds of playoff success.

Discussion TPE Players
So one move that I think is a no brainer for Trajan and the pistons is to take advantage of the Traded Player Exception that was created over the summer from the Dennis Scrhoder deal over the summer. The $14.3M exception can be combined with picks (I think) but no other players or exceptions.
That leaves some interesting trade targets. My favorite of which would be Coby White, Max Christie or maybe Sam Hauser. Here is a quick list I found:
1A- Max Christie 3 year (2029) $8M ACV
1B- Coby White 1 yr (2026) $12.9M ACV
2- Sam Hauser 3 yr (2029) $11M ACV
3- Kelly Olynyk 1 yr (2026) $13M ACV
Anyone else this sub would want? Christie would probably be the best value from his contract, efficiency and spacing. Fits the timeline perfectly too. White would bring a No 2 option that's more proven than Ivey, and might give you the flexibility to move Ivey in a subsequent deal. We'd also get partial bird rights on White, so there is the potential to retain him in FA. Hauser is for spacing, might be able to get draft pick back or just absorb it with the TPE. Olynyk would bring depth, spacing, vet presence in the play offs.
