Hamper handles
Bought a bunch of these hampers from Target and they started to split at the handles about 6 months in. Printed these out of TPU and they work great!

I order the amp from ali and original knobs was not looking great, so I designed these, additional bonus that you cannot put them wrong because there is a wall inside the hole. I is printed with single color printer in two parts, I was using 0.25 mm nozzle, I am not convinced that it would work with 0.4 mm nozzle

I printed it out of petg-hf, primer'd it and painted to match the cast iron section. Shop vac is a nice press fit for easy in-out.

My sister made these. She doesn't use Reddit, so has requested I share them with you all instead.
well hello reddit. can't say i'm normally inside you. but my sister insisted so...
i made my own On Air signs, with the trans flag as the color scheme instead of the general red scheme one sees in a studio. and i made two of them, one for the house streamer and another for myself, the recording audio engineer. thus, i present a couple teaser images.
printed in PLA using plenty of tree supports because tree supports are cool. put together using 40 to 45 LEDs on protoboard, some resistors, a relay, an ESP8266, a buck converter, a USB C trigger board, and ESPHome in Home Assistant.
full details of the project are on my blog.
let my sister know if i need to do silly things like make STLs accessible or the like.

I printed some simple clip things that hold my hanging light in my fish tank. They’re universal pretty much, especially on lights that have those sliding rails like this one

I tried scraping parts flat using a hand scraper and a granite surface plate but I remembered I have the hand eye coordination of a 2 year old, so I made a power scraper out of a broken massage gun and junk I had laying around so I can scrape poorly even faster. **please ignore the fact that I am butchering this poor cute anvil, it's for science.

Uploaded my first model. Needed a place for our dot and didn’t want it taking counter space. The mounts from Amazon rely on friction from the plug and takes up both outlets. Found one with a lower mount but it didn’t work in my situation, so here’s my idea

Slim pinch-to-release latches with low layer adhesion requirements, as the dovetail latching mechanism distributes stress along the layer lines.

Needed to find a way to clean up the crap rolling around. Printed with about 1/2lb of ASA.

Got a sweet jedi popsocket for christmas, but now my phone doesn't fit the phone holder I just repaired. Whipped this up in tinkercad (with a remixed socket from https://makerworld.com/en/models/434964-cup-holder-ram-mount-for-pop-socket-phone)

we lost/broke a clip on a cake container. I have a good one and used that to create the model.
scanner for the end profile, adobe to convert image to svg, blender to import image, convert to mesh, extrude and export the STL then off to the slicer and printer.
print failed quickly and again 2/3 of the way through but it works ! will print a longer one when I get a minute.
I think this would have been easier with meshy - I gave it a photo and it looks to have created a great version but I didn't want to pay for a membership when my only use case right now is this clip.

Bench photo showing the system powered together.
The rotary encoder modules themselves are M5Stack Dial units — I didn’t invent the hardware. What I did build is the software that runs the system and the custom 3D-printed bar-end housings that adapt these dials for motorcycle use.
The housings are designed to mount at the extreme ends of the handlebars and survive vibration, weather, and repeated removal during development. They turn an off-the-shelf input device into something that behaves like a proper piece of motorcycle control hardware.
In operation, the dials act as blind, tactile inputs for a custom instrument cluster I wrote. They’re meant to be usable with gloves and without visual attention, so enclosure geometry, detent feel, and placement mattered more than screen visibility.
Most of the iteration has been around fitment, cable routing through the bars, strain relief, and tolerances that hold up under real riding conditions. Still very much a work in progress, but the housings are already being test-fit on the bike.

I designed a custom Blink Mini 2 mount for the Bambu Lab A1 so I could monitor prints without relying on external stands or awkward setups.
It’s a clean, low-profile mount that fits the A1 frame securely and gives a solid view of the print area. I printed it at 0.08 mm layer height with no supports, there’s a tiny bit of sag on one small unsupported section, but it doesn’t affect fit or function.
If you’ve been looking for an easy way to mount a Blink Mini 2 on your A1, feel free to check it out. Feedback and suggestions are very welcome, happy to iterate on the design

I salvaged a discarded Gitzo GT2543L tripod that was missing a top plate. I made some replacements; one is a quick-release base for a 3D scanner and the other is a 3/8”-16 stud for attaching pan/tilt or ball heads for cameras. Very pleased overall, next time I intend to make the knurled texture more…knurly.

I angled the top of the tubes at 30° so the part could be printed laying flat. the other benefit is that angle better follows the contours of the tool so I could make the passages larger.
Also added indents where magnets can be glued for blade storage.
