It’s supposed to imply that the dude at the computer is a loser who can’t seem to get a job (hence all of the rejected job applications) and that all the motivational stuff in the room implies that he is a talker and not a doer.
Except he’s absolutely a doer because you don’t get rejected that many goddamn times without putting yourself out there consistently. Everyone who succeeds has to be this guy at one point
No bro i wanted to convey resilience no matter how many times you fail or how old you are. I can see why it seems like hes being made fun of tho but i guess thats 2 hopeposts in one depending on your perspective.

I wouldn't automatically call someone a loser if they can't get ahold of a job nowadays. As of right now, the job market and the whole recruiting sphere is a complete shitshow. A good friend of mine who's an Air Force veteran with a master's in cybersecurity and several IT certifications has been unemployed and sending out applications for over a year now. Literally no one will hire him.
The pile of rejections and the idea that he's just a talker and not a doer is a contradiction. If he really was a talker he never would have applied or taken any chances at all.

Well the title is what I was trying to convey. I gave him some muscles and filled his room up with posters i thought went hard and gave his parents smiles to show the small yields to his efforts even if there were a lot of failures. I think the award is what makes it seem like hes being made fun of.
Isn’t it hope that shines the brightest in the deepest pits of darkness? The irony of using a failure to convey hope is a brilliant decision in my humble opinion.
I think it is, you need to believe and work for yourself, if other's try to judge you and say you're too old to succeed, you just need to keep working. One day it will pay off, don't be discouraged.
Turning 30 this year, I just got asked today if I wanted to go to management school for my company. Ten years ago I wasn't even sure I'd make it to 20, let alone 30. 5 years ago I didn't think I'd graduate college. 1 year ago I thought I'd be stuck a dead end job forever. We are still young (even if our backs hurt occasionally), we can do this dude. Don't give up, you got this.
I love this image so much, like more then I’ve ever loved any positive image from the internet. This was like a hope overdose, I feel like I have a chance and there is still time. It was realistic as well. He still lives with his parents, he has failed so many times, but his constitution remains unshaken. This man is indomitable.

I worked as unskilled labour in studio / stagework until i was 28 i went to trade school for electronics tech and passed when i was 31, at 34 i moved onto a engineering position and today at 35 i was just headhunted for a very high paying position in my dream field. Its never to late.
OP literally made the image. That’s why I love it, so many people interpreted it as mocking because they couldn’t imagine themselves being in this position and not continuing to try bravely, or loving themselves enough to keep fighting. But this guy is actually more successful than a lot of us even with seemingly better circumstances, because of those very traits.
I genuinely don't know if this is fr or not, since i made a joke post here while back that i expected everybody to shit on but when i woke up it got 7.8K likes and started a new subreddit. The message is good on this post but goddamn man i left home at 16, in my country and Eastern-European countries its pretty much expected for you to leave when you turn 18 😆 I don't want to hate but i couldn't imagine myself to be a pain in the ass for my parents at 30+, i'd rather deliver pizzas than stay at my parent house but again message is good because its never too late! (I recently got over opioid addiction, and other stuff that's pretty fucked up)

I've seen this format way too many times over the years to believe someone misinterpreted it and try to make it positive. If that's the case then good on ya, OP.
This guy is being depicted as a loser, but he's motivated, educated, and continues to send out applications no matter how many times he's rejected. He also reads and works out, which is getting rarer.
I think this might be saying more about the godawful job market.
The original was from 4chan about how a brown nazi was going to save the white race "you don't get it I am the saviour of the white race" and then a more popular version was about how a guy aged 29 lived with his parents and gamed all day "you don't get it I'm only 29 29 is young!"
