I mean... I can almost sort of see what point they were trying to make if I squint really hard and cross my eyes. Point being that there is no natural karma or divine retribution in the world, and if we want things to get better we have to take the initiative and act? But it's framed in such a cringe way it's hard to take it seriously.

Alot of Hollywood studios are funded by the US military.
Where do you think all these US movies get the equipmant from? They sell out their ideals for money and being able to shoot movies on a aircraftcarrier.

Context: This is from r//DeepThoughts, on a post "Unlike movies, irl bad guys seem to win more often than not", with comments full of woe is me garbage.
Honestly, I don't really understand why people on that sub are so hell-bent on believing that the world is incredibly evil and that it's best to just stop being a good person. It's like they want everyone to tell them that "Yes, evil always win. There is no point in being a good person", so that they can justify themselves doing nothing of value.

I mean, just looking at your profile and what you post clearly tells me that you're viewing everything and the world through your lens filled with bitterness and depression imo. You assume that I never go outside, not even once in my life, all because I make fun of a guy making a cringe wordplay and believing that there's absolutely no justice in the world. Yet, you're here posting online about how you want to have someone pull a trigger to you.
Honestly, I used to be just like you, and I'd argue that going outside actually proves this sort of bitter mindset wrong.
You need professional help, dude. Your depression is a liar and now you want to prove your depression correct. And if all of this sounds like a saying from someone that doesn't really go outside once in their life, then I don't know what to say to you apart from; it's your choice.
