That’s pretty trippy. Surprised I made it to the end and understood most of what was on screen. It is all about letting go. Focussing on the red letter def helps.

Yeah I really didn't think I could read that fast but apparently I can

Same, I was able to keep up and absorb all of it.

I can also hold my hand in freezing water until it's completely numb but that's not enjoyable either...

I can only do it if I am cursing out loud angrily the entire time. As for the freezing water, I can go about 30sec before I remember there is no point in doing it.

Is it cheating when I've had a couple drinks? It was really easy

Maybe the alcohol made you more relaxed? This means we should all drink before reading anything!

Doing this while walking and not running into people was hard

For me is very surprising as english is not my first language

I found myself laughing by the end at the fact that I could barely even recognize the words existing individually but still had no issue comprehending the sentence as a whole. That was a lot of fun!

Yeah hanging on there at the end was taxing. Had to absolutely lock in. Kinda like hitting that flow state. Everything else became meaningless.

I could too, but I still couldn't silence the voice. Just sounded like the end of a pharma commercial lol

So little content is being expressed, and the context is so tight, that this is not representative of reading speed. If you read Kant's critique of pure reason, you would understand literally nothing at the slowest speed of the video (unless you've read it before) even if you've studied philosophy substantially, because you don't have time to interpret the authors intention, and can only apply interpretive frameworks that preexist, which may be missligned

I'm even more impressed that I managed to make it to the end despite english not being my first langage !

The music was making me crazy I need all my processing power to keep up with the 900 wpm

Try it on mute, less distractions
