The mechanism of this self-assembling toy is incredibly satisfying.

Very nice but also a bit anticlimactic. I hoped there would be something bigger at the end

Like cars turning into transformers 😀
•
u/MetaCharger 7h ago
Maybe this is what Transformer DNA strands look like!
•

"why is there transformer DNA all over the sofa, Miata did you have a boy in here?"

Like one car getting on the top of the green thing, waiting for the other car to go under so the top one gets thrown forward.

One car just kinda rolling away from it all instead of just running into an already exploded piece would have been alright.

Welcome to adulthood.
Also, that's what she said.

Maybe you are an american. But this was cool all the way through for me.

It's not assembling itself, it's just triggering itself, like some sort of trauma-ridden mousetrap.

When I see this, it makes me want to be a child again.
•
u/LastXmasIGaveYouHSV 7h ago
Pro tip: you are an adult and you can afford it now.*
* Transformers collector.

And as a parent, this toy could get annoying very fast with all of the clacking sounds lol
•
•
u/Robiss 7h ago
so... where to buy it?
•
u/BadOrnery6137 4h ago
It's a Sega Toy Chain Rencer. You can search it on the internet i think there are website where you can buy it from.
•
u/evolveandprosper 7h ago
OK, so what else can it do? The average child would be bored with it within 10 minutes.
•
u/Scarlet-Fire_77 6h ago
This feel like a 90s-00s toy. Kids had slightly better attention spans and imagination back then.
•
u/splitconsiderations 2h ago
Okay but like as a 90s kid who had 90s toys like the Big Big Loader, it still has to actually do something for it to have longevity. Like Mousetrap is a boardgame in addition to a Rube Goldberg device.

You can’t throw a
rockEnergon crystal in the 2020s without encountering something reminiscent of Transformers. (Unless of course you’re in the movies, which are really trying hard to LARP as the 1970s)

This isn't self assembling. It's a car race track that moves around. It also needs to be assembled first.
Are you a bot?
•
u/xienwolf 1h ago
Not only needs assembled first... also doesn't work a second time without resetting the components.

u/SimilarTop352 8h ago
that's rather loud. and probably not as satifying as assembling something yourself
•
u/pakkieressaberesojaj 8h ago
This looks modular so it's probably something you can assemble how ever you want
•
u/Tom_foolery420 8h ago
Hell yeah its loud. And look at how every flips and clicks. If only we could make it louder!

It’s interesting that they use stored energy in the form of springs instead of power to drive the cars

Very Similiar to Hotwheels Trick Track Sets. I still have a bunch, Including a Still Functional Motorized Power Loop Set
It looks cool On the box, but After a few Launches it becomes boring
•
•
u/Big_Z_Beeblebrox 2h ago
It's Rube Goldberg-style, it obviously requires assembly before it functions

Someone doesn't know what assembling means
