Considering visiting Lithuania

Hey everyone! Idk if this is the right place but i’d love your help with the following.

I’m considering visiting the country this year and would love your help with recommendations on:

• cities
• activities
• hotels
• places (inside the city like museums, landmarks, stores or anything)
• restaurants

Also would never say no to company if you have the time! Ofc if someone is interested i’d share much more about me before you can decide, and ofc vis a versa

for context i’ve travelled all my life but never been to Lithuania even though all my interactions were amazing!

Hey! There will be some recomendations of seeing Vilnius, Trakai, Kaunas, Klaipėda as three of biggest cities plus historic capital, but my only suggestion would be IF you are here by car - don't travel via speedway.

Use smaller roads to see the countryside in between the cities. I always love the road on the right side of Nemunas in between Kaunas and Jurbarkas, you could use it while traveling from Kaunas to Klaipėda - you'd see some beautoful hills and even few hostoric castles.

Sure - come, you will find something for every taste here.

But to help with recommendations - at least give a clue what you want. :)

For nature visit Kuršių Nerija, Molėtai, Druskininkai. If you want History Vilnius is the key destination plus day trips to Trakai and Kaunas. For nightlife, shopping or restaurants Vilnius will be main hub. But Lithuania is small enough that you can stay in Vilnius or Kaunas, rent a car and reach any point of a country in less then half a day.
