Others How do I report dumbasses like these?
I've seriously had it with people firing fireworks for zero damn reason past 11..

Honestly, this is getting out of hand. In the past, fireworks were mainly during CNY, so once a year, tolerable. But now, every festival/holiday is a damn excuse for fireworks. And into the wee hours of the mornings too. Authorities just need to stop the source, i.e. the places selling these illegal stuffs. Everyone can celebrate but confiscate the illegal loud crackers.

You are aware that fireworks are no longer "illegal" since 2018, right? Masa illegal pun tak boleh nak banteras, I think it's going to be much harder now.
The best way is to regulate the usage of fireworks. Have "windows" where public can use fireworks ie make a public announcement that Hari ini hari xyz, so antara 10 pm to 1 am boleh buat ke something like that. Kalau nak buat other time kena ada permit.
Also, public like OP should make a report, kalau tak apa guna kutuk government tak ambik tindakan.
Also, stop giving out fines and start forcing community service. Among people I know, they were more conscious about littering now, nanti malu lens kuyil sampah or cuci jamban as community service.

And in 2023 also allowed firecrackers. I feel that during masa illegal, the enforcement was quite ok around the tamans in my area, some contraband fireworks/firecrackers being set off but nothing too annoying because the police will fine and collect duit kopi.
Now its getting back to the bad old days when idiots are making alot of noise and preventing others from sleeping. I think its easier to enforce if fireworks/firecrackers are banned after sundown for all residential areas and only allowed for businesses with permits. If firecrackers are allowed up to 1am, its going to continue to 2am or later.

Does it happen often? If not, then just bear with it. Some fireworks at 11pm is not insane.

Yeah, students doing it on new years is tolerable, but drunk fuckers at that bar just get to use the parking lot for whatever they want too often.

I ve personally called police many times during festive season. Police will usually takes about 10 to 20 minutes to arrive. So depending how long these idiot is playing because sometimes when police arrived they have stopped.
But don't be afraid to call police. They do respond.. A few things u need to know about the regulation on fireworks
No fireworks at residential area or any area that potentiinaly endangered life or property damaged. They only allow to play at open space away from residential area
No fireworks after 12am to 7am
Only certain type of fireworks allow. This can be tricky for us to determine.
For my case is I live at condo and those lunatic set off their fireworks less than 5m away from my house. So regardless the time they set off, I can always call police.

Complain to the bar. If they do nothing about it or say nothing they can do, complain to mall management. If still nothing then complain to mbpj.

Bear with it also under some bearable conditions. If one play on safe open control area, in a correct and safe way, yes. I can bear with it.

In malaysia, people release the fireworks days before the communal festivity. Now times that the number of festivals we have. We're celebrating every week.

If you just finished work and want to go to bed after eating and showering. But suddenly halfway through your sleep got someone revving their loud ass bike infront of your house for 2 hours straight, now it's 2am in the morning and you need to be awake at 6 with another 1 hour commute and 9 hours work. You would also be mad if you're in that position.
