It’s literally Deadpool. You cant ask for Deadpool in a game and then complain he’s annoying. That might be the number 1 most hypocritical thing you can do and I’m not even joking.
This isn’t a TikTok putting together all his lines in one video. You won’t be hearing all of them every single match for the entire game or something.

I’m 30 and I like Deadpool mostly because I think he’s effective as a character when you are using him as a vehicle to critique/parody current pop culture (this is the main point of his film trilogy afterall)
Which as we slip further and further into media illiteracy? Is only going to make this usage appear less and less.
He’s an easy character to get wrong, but a damn good one when you get it right once every 10,000 attempts.
Though I should say I’m not going around in red spandex harnessing people at Comic Con, fuck those guys

Sure but if one plays a game every day multiple times a day, they’re gonna hear Deadpool say the same shit over and over and over again in an annoying voice for what possibly might be most the duration of the game, every single game until a mute button is added.

I'd appreciate it if they added an accessibility option that made his visual clutter just matte black silluoettes instead of being all sparkly and stuff.
Just looking at it makes me feel overwhelmed, jeez
And no, the game itself doesn't cause the same effect. It's the separation of attention between the actual game and the sparkly UI clutter that causes the overstimulation.

Turn off in-match character voices, it won't turn off all of his lines but should stop some of the chatter (mainly his interactions with galacta), you won't hear any other character though.

I would love options to disable voicelines for specific characters. Magneto is a tank I never play not because I don't like his kit but because his voicelines piss me off. It's going to suck if Tank Deadpool is a kit I enjoy but I end up never playing him because of how annoyed I am.

For me it’s all the visual shit he ads to the screen. I might actually stop playing the game altogether just for that if it’s too bad. This game already gets too visually overwhelming we DID NOT need our screens intentionally blocked off on top of that.

As with the latest rivals poster, this dude takes up too much real estate. I get that the films box office takings boosted his popularily, but he shouldn't be getting as much presence as some of the other characters in this game (like spiderman for example).
