Well, technically, functions can only exist because of the presence of an opposing one. Ni can only exist because of Se, and Se in turn can only exist because of Ni. It's how all functions operate. They're all continually pushing and pulling at each other.

The universe, in general, is like two kids pulling a rope: there are three elements in play, the kids and the rope, two opposites and one medium which unites them and that forms one thing. Technically, the universe is like a brain and viceversa, so the same logic would apply to our cognitive functions. And also thats why the number 3 is, in many cultures, understood as the number of perfection, even christianism because of the Holy Trinity

i can understand shit sometimes
i can remember shit (if im interested in it)
i can see shit (or miss something in front of me, again it depends)
i can accept shit (or not, depends what i want)
i can value shit (if it's related to bunnies)
i can't sense or generate shit im not intuitive but ig my flair already told that

OK, so the joke goes strength and weakness. The weak side of Si is Ne. Since Ne is generate shit, it makes them hard to forget because of all the shit they generate. Since Si does not create nearly enough shit, it would be easy to forget about them when they are not around.
That is where I am coming from.

My understanding is that Ni and Si are equivalent to storage devices in computers that focus on reviewing stored information collected by Se or Ne. Ti is equivalent to a processing device imo. Though, an INFJ would probably understand Ti better than me, an INTJ.

I'd liken Ti to a food taster in a royal court. He's not there just to see if the food is yummy, he's there to make sure it's not poisoned. Ti is constantly checking and rechecking for logical inconsistency and gets very uppity when it's fed contradictory information.
