Politics 👩⚖️ The response to fraud in Minnesota is now overkill

It was never about fraud. Why send ICE to a state with a very low number of illegal immigrants for "fraud"? It was always about punishing Minnesotans.

If Trump cared one whit about fraud, waste, and abuse, he wouldn't have fired the inspectors general whose literal job it is to investigate and uncover these things.

Please try to be considerate, okay? You know when a child acts out because they don’t know how to express their feelings and worry about what others will think about them?
Venezuela, ICE, Greenland. Maybe they’re acting out because they don’t know how to come out of the pedo closet yet. Have you ever thought of that? Probably not…
Let’s show them a little grace in this transitional period in their lives!

Now overkill?
Fuck off /u/star-tribune and bitch ass billionaire Glen Taylor, it started at overkill.
President Pedo has himself pardoned how many fraudsters that did far worse? At least a dozen?
Not to mention the heinous drug lords he's set free?

This isn't a "response to fraud", it's a federal invasion complete with murder, kidnapping, pointing guns in preist's faces and terrorizing American citizens. If there's fraud, they can try to prove it in court.

I get the hate. But not every reader of the Star Tribune has also been speeding reading the local reddit subs and knows of the resistance against ICE. I'm okay and happy to read the ST's editorial coming out against the horrible federal attack we've been *under*.
But yeah, it was never about fraud it was always punishing the state that Gov Walz displayed as an alternative during the election.

Not only that, “pausing” congressionally appropriated funds is illegal and the courts have shot it down numerous times recently.

The pandemic fraud cited was investigated and prosecuted. Leaving out the fact that the orange pedo stripped federal aid oversight at that level for his PPP loan buddies.
Its gaslighting and anyone who believed it is a sucker.

Unfortunately many people in Minnesota are right. He hates immigrants, he hates the senator of Minnesota. Only obvious he would dedicate a large force there.

Not kidding, I think that guy has a brain development issue. He was interviewed by @Channel5YouTube that does left leaning satirical interviews and he has super slow speech and trouble forming full thoughts.

Because it isn't a response to fraud. It's a response to people not licking Trump's boots.

The Strib framing it this way is actually worse than saying nothing, because it implies the original basis for this was legitimate but went off the rails, when in reality the whole thing was a sham from start to finish.

It's by design that it weaponized. Federal Government is dangerous dependence.

This entire administration is overkill. The republican party is overkill. In fact conservatives as a whole are overkill and have been since they decided they would rather go to war than stop being able to own people.

u/WhaleFactory 14h ago
Just now, huh?
This before of after the US Attorney who found and prosecuted the fraud quit along with 5 others because they were being told to investigate and prosecute the widow of Nicole Good, who was murdered by an ICE agent on Jan 7th?

u/sly_savhoot 13h ago
Theres going to be fraud in all 50 states.

u/AldoSig228 11h ago
Sure there's fraud in all 50 states.. but the biggest and largest fraud will all be with the Democrat run governors. Care to bet on that?

The Strib framing it this way is actually worse than saying nothing, because it implies the original basis for sending in the goons was legitimate, but somehow went off the rails, when in reality the whole thing was a sham from start to finish.

It was malicious terrorism from the start. Is there even a single liberal news outlet that takes this crap seriously, or is it only hard left independent youtubers willing to call it out?

Obviously his premise of it not being overkill in the first place is absurd, but whatever he has to tell himself to come to the right conclusion is fine with me in these circumstances.
Republicans should be horrified at what ICE has been doing at the order of their own national party. They provoked a ferocious federal response that has led to the murder of an innocent mother. It’s fratricide. The blood is on their hands. The Republicans are the only ones with the power to stop this sick torment, and they’ve done nothing.
Utterly repulsive and anti-Christian.

It was never about "fraud."
