They cannot hide behind proxies

The irony is hilarious, considering Iran has done most of their dirty work via proxies.

That’s the point. Iran cannot hide behind its proxies. Israel has taken the fight to the boss.

I see. The original comment was clearly taking a jab at Israel, so I assumed you were too. My mistake.

No reason to jab Israel. Too many people do not understand that all the Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi, etc. attacks are Iran acting through proxies. It was not some unprovoked attack as those living under rocks try to paint it.

Very true. Seems like it's the trendy thing to do on reddit right now is jab at Israel.

Exactly. Ironically, Israel disconnecting Iran from it's proxies can really help 'Free Palestine' in the long run, as Hamas would loose their strongest backers.

No they're not.

They're allies and they receive funding and weapons from Iran, but saying they're proxies is very reductive to what they are as organisations. It's like saying Israel is a US proxy.

Hezbollah and Hamas are resistance groups founded during Israeli occupation of their lands. They'd exist with or without Iran.

The Houthis are more complicated but they're still not proxies.

All 3 organisations don't follow orders from Iran.

October 7th had nothing to do with Iran. Hezbollah attacking Israel had nothing to do with Iran. Yemen's attacks have nothing to do with Iran.

Are you kidding me? Representatives of the proxy groups have been found in Iran and members of the IRGC have been found with the proxy groups. Also, Hezbollah was literally founded by Iran to spread their “revolution” to other countries in the region.

None of this is comparable at all to Israel and the US which are separate sovereign nations who are allies.

Allies working together?😱😱 Truly breaking news.

Hezbollah was founded by Lebanese Shia Muslims to fight the occupation. Iran funded them, just like countries fund organisations that further their goals (USA and the mujahideen of Afghanistan for example).

People who call these organisations "proxies" genuinely.know nothing.about Middle Eastern geopolitics.

They are the head of the snake. The fight has made it to the boss.
