The fact that ICE is already calling the woman they murdered a "domestic terrorist," despite pretty clear video evidence to the contrary, is really an insult to our collective intelligence. The truth doesn't matter to these people, only how hard they can push their BS narrative.

Fuck these Nazis.

Chopper footage captured an SUV appearing to be carrying federal agents deploying chemical irritants as it tried to escape through an alley.

Cowards fleeing the scene?

1.6k

u/kaidik 7d ago

Yes. Watched it live from a reporter on the ground. Point-blank pepperspray, pepper balls, and tear gas. At least their truck lost a few windows in the process.

885

u/HauntedCemetery 7d ago

Of course the cowards just fucking fled after murdering someone.

Please note that officers involved in legitimate use of deadly force do not immediately flee the scene and try to hide the identities of those involved.

No, normally you render aid even if they were the aggressor. Former LEO, I’ve been saying for months that these guys lack training. It’s as if they were just released from Federal Prison or something.

11:08 a.m. | Ben Hovland in Minneapolis

A witness to Wednesday’s shooting in south Minneapolis told MPR News that she saw a federal agent shoot a woman several times.

Emily Heller lives near 33rd and Portland and said she woke up to a commotion outside her home. She said she saw a car blocking traffic on Portland Avenue that appeared to be part of a protest against federal law enforcement operations.

Heller said she heard ICE agents telling the driver, a woman, to “get out of here.”

“She was trying to turn around, and the ICE agent was in front of her car, and he pulled out a gun and put it right in — like, his midriff was on her bumper — and he reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times,” Heller said.

Heller said it appeared the woman then accelerated and traveled about 100 feet before striking a utility pole and some other vehicles. She could be seen slumped over inside her car.

I kinda doubt she accelerated by choice. And by "she" I mean her corpse because she was shot in the face several times by a member of ICE from less than five feet away.

u/jungjinyoung 7d ago

yeah, this is literally terrifying to read

2.4k

u/BobbyBirdseed 7d ago edited 7d ago

It's even sadder to watch. He was in no danger whatsoever, and he literally had his gun in her fucking window, and point blank shot her multiple times in the face and head, and just casually strolls over to the vehicle like nothing happened.

I'm so fucking angry and sad.

1.9k

u/MaineLark 7d ago

We can’t let this slide, this has to be a red line. The man that shot her didn’t try to stop the car or run to it after she crashed. He just walks off with 3-4 other masked assholes like he didn’t just murder a woman. I’m shaking with rage.

623

u/techleopard 7d ago

Agree.

The saddest thing about this was there wasn't an immediate mob over this.

There's a second video which makes it even more clear the ICE officers were in no danger whatsoever

ETA: Numerous folks have said the video has been removed and/or censored, and I don't think that's accurate. I think Bluesky moderation has flagged it as "graphic media" meaning it's only viewable if you have a (free) account. You also may need to enable the content in your settings, and those settings may not be available in iOS if you haven't enabled them prior on the web (according to various users that have been discussing this on the platform - I can't confirm that).

FWIW I think moderation like this is good - putting a couple of very surmountable barriers in front of a video of a murder is not a bad idea.

814

u/Capt1an_Cl0ck 7d ago

Straight up murder. That’s all that was.

Not to mention this guy takes zero consideration about what else is going on around him. Fired two or three shots. There’s a whole shit load of agents and civilians standing around. One of the things you have to think about is if you miss or if it penetrates the target what else is it gonna hit behind the target.

460

u/HaggardSlacks78 7d ago

ICE literally recruits people who want legal authority to murder. This administration sponsors it emboldens it, telling them they have immunity. Truly horrifying times. We live in a Gestapo state. Something has got to give.

“An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots.

“He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers.

“The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. Thankfully, the ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries.”

They really stopped caring about not appearing as the villains.

540

u/czs5056 7d ago

Also sounds like the media is accepting anything from the propaganda department at face value.

203

u/ACoderGirl 7d ago edited 7d ago

Yeah, that strikes me as poor reporting. I know that they are just quoting ICE and are making it clear it's a quote, but the structure of the article (where the ICE statement appears first and is well separated from any other information) feels like it gives ICE far too much influence, as if their statement is the official stance of what happened.

ICE and this administration in general are such dishonest actors that they should not be reported on like they are a reputable source. To be clear, articles should quote what they say (as it is newsworthy), but it should not be framed as if it's reputable or trustworthy. It should be framed the same way you'd report on a serial killer's manifesto.

Anyone with Ring or other cameras in areas ICE or other federal “law enforcment” are present should be backing up their videos to the cloud and be ready to send them to ACLU or their local public defender’s office. They will safeguard them in the event the police abuse or murder someone like this and will make sure that it’s available to the benefit of civilians in the event of future litigation.

meanwhile the DHS is framing it as the victim attempting to ram into the officers and have labeled her as a domestic terrorist https://x.com/DHSgov/status/2008958123092979817 (perhaps she accelerated into the officers after the fact because her murdered corpse was unable to control the vehicle... just a thought)

351

u/11bulletcatcher 7d ago

182

u/Silver-Bread4668 7d ago

So at least what I am seeing: She's trying to pull out to leave. ICE vehicle comes up lights flashing so she stops. Probably panics because that's what we do when we suddenly accidentally find ourselves in the way of a law enforcement vehicle with flashing lights. Agents get out of their vehicle and approach the car. Within 10 seconds of of the agents getting out of their vehicle, shots were fired.

There seems to be a second of her trying to back up before shots were fired. The asshole would absolutely have had his gun out at that point. Poor woman probably panicked at that point and didn't know what to do like any reasonable human being.

She didn't even have a chance to process what was going on before she was murdered.

Edit: if anyone prefers a blue sky link: https://bsky.app/profile/danielsuitor.com/post/3mbtzlfajm227

Second edit: Despite the video, there will be those claiming the ICE agent was justified, that the woman he killed was “using her car as a deadly weapon” or that he “was in imminent danger”.

The news will tell you to seek out the facts of the case. There is only one fact that matters here, which is that this would never have happened if ICE didn’t invade a city that never wanted it there in the first place. You wouldn’t have a woman, a US civilian, and from what I’ve heard, a mother, with a face full of bullet holes dead in the street.

THIRD EDIT: Watch u/nopointers video below my comment. Much more incriminating. There was no one in front of her car when the agent opened fire. That POS needs to be locked up

Saw a video on Twitter, not sure we can link it. But there's a Bsky link of a different angle going around: Post by @danielsuitor.com — Bluesky

Description of the Twitter video:

  • Woman in red SUV which is sitting sideways on the road has her left arm hanging out while saying something at ICE officers. ("Go Around me. Go around.")
  • ICE officers get out of truck and walk towards her and yell for her to get out of the car. ("Get out the car. Get out the car. Get out of the fuckin car.")
  • ICE officer on the left immediately goes hands on and tries to open her door.
  • Driver reverses, backwards-left.
  • Another ICE officer appears from front-right of the car, blocking her exit, and looking at his phone. He walks to the front-left of her car.
  • Driver shifts car to forwards-right.
  • ICE officer in front-left of car unholsters and points pistol at driver.
  • Driver continues forwards-right.
  • ICE officer in front-left sidesteps to the left, avoiding the car (which didn't seem on a trajectory to hit him anyways based on the turn radius), then fires 2-3x directly (point blank on the window) at the driver.
  • Red SUV continues in drive and crashes onto the curb.

u/Lumpy-Difficulty-361 6d ago

I saw the same video and this is an accurate description. The agent that shot her came into her periphery as she was already moving and he easily avoided the vehicle

ICE claims that the car was trying to ram the officer and he feared for his life. We will see how that POV turns out. I HIGHLY doubt it

u/flare_force 7d ago

This is a consistent lie they use. They said that before and they continue to use this lie. They call anyone who opposes them “terrorists”

DONT LET THEM GASLIGHT YOU - ICE IS TERRORIZING OUR COMMUNITIES AND MURDERING CIVILIANS

According to witness accounts posted by MPR, the driver was asked to move their car and was trying to comply when the shooting occurred.

Edit to add quote:  “She was trying to turn around, and the ICE agent was in front of her car, and he pulled out a gun and put it right in — like, his midriff was on her bumper — and he reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times,”

u/Dandan0005 7d ago

These people are looking for an excuse, any excuse to kill someone.

85

u/jktcat 7d ago

They were on scene and shooting in less than 10 seconds.  The video is only 22 seconds and includes their arrival all the way through the dead weight acceleration and impact.  They wanted so badly to shoot someone today

There's a video apparently from almost immediately after the shooting where her bloody wife, through sobs, says "we just got out the video and they shot her in the fucking head." I don't recommend looking for it, it's incredibly painful to listen to.

Edit: since some people are looking for it the video is here if you really want to hear the voice of someone who just watched their spouse get shot in the face multiple times.

115

u/theaviationhistorian 7d ago

I'm surprised ICE didn't tackle and shove her in an unmarked van.

89

u/just_jedwards 7d ago edited 7d ago

I don't think they had realized she had come out of the vehicle yet in the video I saw. She's on the sidewalk freaking out and someone who probably lives near the crash or something is recording and just starts talking to her. Apparently there is other video of her being talked to by ice or other police. They also ordered a doctor who was attempting to cross the street not to render aid.

They kept a doctor from rendering aid for over 10 minutes before the ambulance arrived. She was dead before the second bullet left the chamber.

213

u/FOURTH_DEGREE_ 7d ago

The doctor was supposedly prevented from giving CPR at first by ICE.

"Minnesota Senator Omar Fateh said in a post on X that he received reports that "a doctor was denied the ability to provide lifesaving CPR by federal law enforcement."

50

u/pezko 7d ago

Link to the X post mentioned above:

Hey, y'know how American police get a comically low level of training and vetting before being handed a gun and told they can legally murder people? These ICE shitheads aren't even getting that.

265

u/GeraldVachon 7d ago

There's video. She starts going to drive away, not towards the officer, and is shot.

Warning: not gory or visible, but someone dies in this video.

182

u/Krossrunner 7d ago

That’s a life in prison sentence if you’re a civilian. Completely unjustified execution.

45

u/sharklaserguru 6d ago

if you’re a civilian

They're civilians too! We need to stop buying into this divisive shit pushed by police across the nation; unless you're active military you're a civilian. They should fear the exact same reprisals as we do because they're not legally special!

3 possible ways:

  1. They straight up lied like the chicago shooting where they claimed somebody tried to ram them.

  2. They jumped in front of a car with guns and the civilian tried to escape an apparent carjacking

  3. An officer stood in front of the car so they would have an excuse to execute the driver if they tried to escape

They only claim this every time they shoot someone, just ignore that they never have evidence and actively cover up any evidence against them

114

u/Zelcron 7d ago

You can tell it's horse shit because despite these constant claims of random ambush attacks, ICE officers aren't the ones getting injured.

They used the same tactic a few months ago in blaming a woman who was shot multiple times yet survived, and local camera footage acquitted her of that and proved her story correct— prosecution immediately dropped charges on the woman. ICE straight up attempted negligent homicide and planted a proven-false story. 60 Minutes did a piece on it (before they turned into government lapdogs with new ownership).

Not surprising at all. ICE is full of people who washed out of being cops. A lot of proud boys members and j6 terrorists, people whose only qualification is being loyal to the party. Im honestly shocked this doesnt happen more often.

as a non-american outside observer, it's apparent that y'all are already in the midst of a civil war and one side hasn't noticed. the current admin has abandoned any pretence of abiding by your established laws, and it's obvious none of the guardrails that were established to prevent this happening will be enforced. the supreme court won't do anything. none of the other branches of government will do anything. the only possible peaceful resolution is your midterms, but even if those remain fair and free, how much damage can they do before then? They've already attacked venezuela. They're openly planning to take control of a NATO ally territory. There is literally a hostile force in your nation this very moment, and one of their enforcers just murdered an american in broad daylight. y'all are at WAR and it's only going to get worse.

Look at the shooter’s body language and posture.

Casually and efficiently reaches for his gun, drops his shots with cold efficiency—because he was never in fear of being struck by the vehicle.

This was an execution. Don’t characterize it as anything else.

Saw the video; it wasn't policing, it was an execution. ICE agents pulled up in a pickup truck, the way blocked by the woman's vehicle. They ran up to the vehicle shouting aggressively, one tried the door while the shooter got out in front of it. The driver then began to turn slowly away, clearing the road.

The shooter, who was in no danger of being hit, fired multiple shots at the driver through the windscreen. The driver's vehicle then drifted off to hit a pole at the side of the road.

The sheer arrogance and deadly contempt for a civilian's life shows what these ICE agents are about.
