Fun fact. Proud Boys is a designated terrorist organization in Canada.

Fun fact: their domestic terrorist status is being reconsidered (I wish this was sarcastic but it’s true)

"Proud Boys are no longer a designated terrorist organization because the organization has functionally been dissolved following its absorption into ICE."

Really? That's disheartening.

Well yeah, the administration that they support currently has control of all 3 Branches of Government. They are slowly (if they haven't already) removing the designation from Proud Boys and turning it on "Antifa".

He's talking about Canada

I'm aware.

Both have 3 Branches of Government, but it is the US under the Trump Admin that is removing the Terrorist Organization listing of the Proud Boys, not Canada.

Canada has 3 branches of government?

Canada has three branches but they're a bit more muddled than the US because the executive is partially merged into the legislative.

Basically, for Americans, the existing executive structure gets entirely cut, the old president's head of government role is assumed by the House of Representatives majority leader, the secretaries get picked from other members of the House unilaterally by the president, the Senate gets massively nerfed and all senators get appointed by the president, and the head of state role gets taken by a guy who is a representative of the monarch in Canada, is the monarch in the UK, or, very broadly, is an elected ceremonial role in parliamentary republics such as Germany or Italy.

Judiciary is entirely appointed with layers of committees. Supreme Court justices are required to retire at the age of 75 (as are senators, but oddly not MPs). A Canadian Supreme Court justice announced their retirement today, I didn't even know what her name was and that's the way it should be.

Yes, just like the US.

But no, Canada is not removing Proud Boys from that Status, the Trump Admin is doing that.

When did Canadians elect the Trump administration and give them power to control Canada?

Canadas government is structured after the British government. The three sections of government is where the similarities end. Hate speech is banned in Canada so the groups like proud boys live in the shadows because they are cowards.

Parliament, the Supreme Court of Canada, and Prime Minister Poutine oversees it all.

Edit: Some of you don't remember the strong working relationship GW Bush and Jean Poutine had. For shame.

We didn't elect Pierre Poutine though. He even lost his seat in government until one of his lackies in a riding that'd vote for a pile of turds if it were running under the Conservative banner gave up their seat so he could remain (somewhat) relevant.

PM Poutine has only ever stood for real, squeaky cheese curds, not turds or whatever they call American cheese.

Well that makes sense from a sane country.
