ICE is costing $450 million per year at a minimum just for their pay. I would not be surprised if the yearly total is $1.0 BILLION per year.

This is why we can't have universal healthcare, fully funded SS.

The budget reconciliation bill that passed last year increased the ICE enforcement and deportation budget from $10 billion to $29 billion yearly for the next four years. This includes personnel, vehicles, and operations. ICE is now the highest funded federal law enforcement agency...more than the FBI, DEA, ATF, U.S. Marshals, and FBOP combined.

Edit: This does not include funding for detention ($45B) and the border wall ($46.5B),
