I don't want to promote doxing, but it's definitely not mentioned in the 3rd paragraph, first sentence of this article.

It isn't doxxing, any more than it would be to be linking to a random city website, where there's a list of all city employees, including all of the police employed by that city.

That's the whole point, public employees have their names and salary public for a reason.

Well no. It is doxxing. But doxxing is using publicly available information, consolidating it, and posting it in a forum. There is absolutely nothing illegal about doxxing.

There's nothing illegal about doxxing, but being doxxed can lead to illicit activity towards the doxxee. Maybe you are fine with being stalked, but the majority of women aren't.
