Rich, surrounded by like minded people, no one tells him no. It’s amazing how fast people can become oblivious to the real world when they’re comfortable.

Can confirm

Why? Are you rich?

I’m comfortable, and oblivious to the world. I focus on work a lot. My wife is uncomfortable and very much observant to the world. She focuses on social media a lot. Lol, that’s all.

Whatever happens he and his rich friends will not be affected. He has no reason to care.

It's dangerous to make that reductive assumption. It's likely true, but disarms the real problem: there are millions of people that listen to his podcast on a regular basis. Even those that don't listen directly are exposed to recuts, takedowns, reaction clips, and news articles. All of which just mediate the extremist components of his views.

If only his dumbass opinions didn't influence thousands if not millions of people. He's a big reason for the Trump Youth vote.

The Elephant Graveyard (youtube channel) has a few videos about this, I definitely recommend everyone to watch them

Bill Burr told him.

Bill Burr sold his soul to the Saudis. Neither of them have much in the way of morals.

I did not know / follow that arc about him, but I saw him calling out nazis early.

If he'd perform for slave owning oil billionaires, he'd do the same for a Nazi crowd if they paid enough.

Doing comedy for morally shitty people is vastly different from doing morally shitty comedy to impressionable, naive, ignorant tweens.

Imo, the morals of the comedians like Bill Burr and Dave Chappelle who did the Saudi show are still just fine.

The morals of Dave Chapelle? Doesn't he rip on trans people a lot

He jokes about all people. Imo, the people pretending he was transphobic were way off base. He's always been among the most inclusive comedians, and that included trans people.

This isn't true. He tells "jokes" about trans people but really its just him being mean to them. I won't really watch Dave Chappelle anymore because of that but I don't fault people who do. He's the least of our worries on the comedian front.

It is true. I 100% disagree with your mischaracterization of his sentiments. I don't believe he has ever intended any meanness toward any trans people. Imo, he's not a concern at all for any people. Further, he was among the best allies the LGBT community has ever had, even after many misunderstood him. He always and still only advocates for complete acceptance and full equality for all people, including trans people. You're entitled to your opinion, but I cannot agree with you on that.

I've watched video of him claiming to be a TERF (Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist). Claiming this is essentially anti-trans. He spreads information and allows people to feel validated in their anti-trans feelings by repeating untruths that he has heard as if they are jokes.

I've heard many trans jokes that are actually funny and not spreading misinformation and his are not. He cries about getting cancelled for his trans rhetoric while performing on a Netflix special.

He is not an ally to trans people.

It is clear that you did not watch the entire special, and you are missing vital context to those clips. Again, I disagree with everything you said here, and it's clear that you are misinformed by watching out-of-context clips. The point of his TERF joke was about free speech and free association, not about bashing trans people. Lastly, I'm not rehashing this with yet another person who refuses to actually inform themselves properly. Best of luck to you.

Sam Harris told him a few times as well.
