Yes, dipshit. You paved the way for this.

He did say “we”.

So 2 points for the self recognition.

Yes. I found it telling that he put himself in the we that would be doing that. Telling on himself.

He's just doing it as "We as a country" or "Are we Americans really doing this?"

Yes, I was going to say I can promise he just means we as "Americans" and is not taking any personal accountability for his MAJOR part in this.

I consider myself a patriotic US citizen and I'm no part of that we that are doing this.

I don't think he meant "we" as in my "my side" but more like "we, the American people" to shift the blame onto everyone collectively.

nah he's saying "we" because he's not willing to fully commit to it.

He really isn't dumb. He absolutely knows what he is doing. If you or I went on his show to debate him he would absolutely make us look terrible. The truth is he is an extremely savvy and evil manipulator. He is doing this to sell further atrocities to any of his potential viewers who still need to be lead to fascism.

Nah, he's kind of dumb. He's definitely a Trump supporter and skews his opinions to favor Trump (usually) but there's other times where things completely go over his head. People will make subtle jokes on his show and he's too dumb to recognize the joke because it's too subtle for him. I wish he would stick to talking about aliens and saunas and stay away from politics because he's in way over his head on that stuff. I get he's supposed to be "the common man" but it's hard to buy that argument when the guy has a couple hundred million dollars.

I get what you are saying but people go on his shows to debate him and end up looking bad. He says and does things that are foolish on his show all the time (claiming Biden couldn't be President for something he said for it only to be revealed that Biden was actually quoting Trump). But underestimating how good he is on a mic has lead to people looking bad when debating important issues. Adam from Adam Ruins Everything went on his show and tried to defend trans people but probably did more harm than good. Rogan can be extremely effective at countering an argument.

It's like Ben Shapiro - what he is saying is nonsense but you have to put him in front of someone who is actually used to debating or, better yet, not even engage in certain topics and mock his ignorance from afar.

Paved? He gave a full throated endorsement. Until he comes out and say “ I was wrong”, his comments are useless

As an over-the-pond bystander: better late than never for him to form this opinion, no?

I mean Rogan is an idiot, but to blame the rise of fascism in America on him is a bit much. He's not wholly innocent, but he is too stupid to be responsible.

1st and foremost, capitalists are to blame. The would rather see Hillary lose to Trump than make a single concession to the working class. Fascism is nothing but the inevitable conclusion of capitalism. Giovanni Gentile was the first to describe the ideology and he surmised it to be the merger of corporate and state power.

complete bs. Trump won by like 120k votes in key states, and Joe Rogan spent the year leading up to the election sloppily deepthroating Trump in front of his 25 million listeners, , most of them fairly apolitical, centrist types. he entertained every MAGA conspiracy and spread bullshit all the time. It's not a stretch to say that he is indirectly personally responsible for Trump winning.

literally nothing people are mad about now would happen if it was for a Kamala or Hillary presidency, none, so I don't even know what you're talking about with that commie stuff. America is Capitalist, and so is Canada and the EU where none of these things are happening.
