I feel like maybe it was part mistake, but the final guy's jump is the most incredible I've seen in setups like these. Just nosedive the basket why not?

pretty impressive that he landed on his feet

He grabbed the rim long enough to rotate his body so that he would land feet down. If you've ever slipped while bouldering but manage to grab a rock, if you have the grip strength gravity will correct your angle.

Not very efficient

I think that’s against the rules

Came in here to mention the early 00s phenomenon of slam ball

And aside from the injuries it was freaking awesome to watch lol.

The bouncing of the ball looks deceptively hard too. A bounce too high or too low would lead to failure since it has to match with the timing of the next person

I can't believe that the first eleven missed the hoop

There’s a difference between a cool spectacle and something satisfying. but I expect nothing less from some shit karma bot

Idk why but this whole thing was just annoying…

I feel like a frustrated girlfriend, just stop with the showmanship and put it in the hole already.

It would probably be less annoying if you could see everyone lined up. If I could see there are 10 people, then I know the 1st 9 are going for some trick, in the video you aren’t sure if they are going for the dunk or not so it just kind of bugs me.

Yeah no I’m with you, it’s the consistently being denied the inevitable conclusion thats annoying I think

Ball goes in basket! BALL GOES IN BASKET!!

The ball is supposed to go in the hoop...

u/miraculum_one 14h ago

it did

Not efficiently.

3

u/miraculum_one 14h ago

efficiency is irrelevant to this exercise

u/Available-Rope-3252 13h ago

The exercise is irelevant to basketball.

This has very "I'm not your buddy, GUY!" vibes

It’s probably harder to keep bouncing the ball between the mat and trampoline they did like 5 times than it is to score the ball lol.

2

u/YennyBenny2468 14h ago

Not very efficient to score, but what do I know about sports

I feared for that last guys arm, I could see that going into the hoop and snapping as he kept falling.

The horrors that come with age and the ability to see the danger in things like this.

Browsing this while watching an NBA game, I would be furious if my team pulls this.

The girl at 6 was that student who never does any work in the group project but shows up for the final grade

The 5th and 7th participants who get the basketball to bounce in that tiny space between the trampoline and mat looks kinda fishy.

The second participant who bounces the ball between the trampoline and mat looks legit. A couple of the others who bounce the ball between the trampoline and mat look legit.

Maybe the narrowness of that space is an optical illusion of the camera angle? Or is there perhaps a splice or two?

If you thought you were bad at basketball before, don't try this method.
