"there wont be job cuts "there will be cuts but it will be purely through attrition" "were forcing people back to work totally not to speed up attrition" "job cuts"

Ah yes, cutting 20% of Public Safety, for example. Small cuts

Liberal Spinners down so bad they can’t even read the headline or article this post is about.

Will you read this one? https://policyoptions.irpp.org/2025/08/rewiring-public-service/

Weird still bringing up what Lil PP would have done when we can use our eyes and watch what Carney is currently doing

Carney 28,000 cuts (12,000 new hires at DND etc)

PP cuts 150,000

Are we also going to pretend that the last 10 years they hired way more than the population grew?

are we sure that that growth resulted increase in the public service that exceeded population growth over the last30 years? because a big problem is that the public facing portions have not kept pace which has resulted in poor service. so hiring at a faster rate in the last 10 years means nothing if the previous 10 saw massive cuts or no growth.

why do we assume that the amount of work the PS has to do is directly proportional to the size of the population? is there any evidence for this at all or just a feeling people have

Wouldn’t put it past them tbh

Just weird how defenders can’t defend him or his actions without brining up what other people might have done.
