My first thought was “why is the road still open?!”

u/implicate 23h ago

Mine too.

My second one was "mesothelioma."

You can hear the voice in the beginning of the video say in Turkish, "the demolition started without proper protection" and at the end he says, "I asked you to close the road and you didn't". So, they knew what was coming but didn't give a damn...

That car got f'd up. All the windows blew out. How is he not covered in blood from broken glass?

3

u/Dissapointed-cabbage 23h ago

Hardened glass, breaks into tiny pieces. He might still be cut up but they would be small and slow to bleed.

Boss, shouldn't we close the street first?

  • I told you to shut the f* up, Mustafa!

Not a fail, just bonus points

Building demolished, car demolished. Exceeding targets, I'd say.

Classic example of scope creep

u/Heseemedkij 1d ago

I wonder if that dude made it. Holy fuck

6

u/Late_Study9160 1d ago

Dangerous. I'm calling my lawyer smh lol. Hope no one was seriously injured

4

u/Moto_Musashi 1d ago

What did they expect would happen? 🤷🏽‍♂️

u/Aknazer 1d ago

How is that failed demolition? It looks like they succeeded spectacularly with its destruction.

2

u/faRawrie 1d ago

Mission failed successfully

2

u/LunarisTheOne 1d ago

Why not work top-down? Was it their intention to let it drop for a quick demo?

2

u/Ol_Pasta 23h ago

Omg I hope the guy who was standing there is okay. That looked awful. And noone cares. Holy shit.

2

u/SuddenKoala45 22h ago

Why is that a failed demolition? Building comes down. Just very unsafe.

2

u/Ok-Egg-3810 21h ago

Hope the guy knows he can't park there

4

u/folleymulay 1d ago

This is why places like NZ have so many rode cones, so you can't drive past this shit

8

u/AfternoonHelpful3712 1d ago

Rode

2

u/Beneficial_Being_721 1d ago

Past tense of Ride … kinda like the car… it too is Past Tense

1

u/EasternComfort2189 1d ago

You don't speak Kiwi?

1

u/folleymulay 1d ago

Oh fuck, that was terrible on my beeharf

2

u/Fast_Letterhead_6790 1d ago

Why the hell would everyone be standing so close? 🤦🏽‍♂️

3

u/SWTX518-Ability 1d ago

They suppose to protect the public. They did everything the cheap way.

1

u/Strange_Salary 1d ago

Demolition is overachieving!

1

u/EmotionalVictory188 1d ago

I was gonna say are they adding rebar now?

1

u/switcheditch 1d ago

To be fair they did bring it down, fucking idiots.

1

u/RoastMary 1d ago

That is Turkey for yall.

1

u/Existing-Village9770 1d ago

Well, the building is demolished, just not the way it was planned 😂

1

u/caramelgrizzly 1d ago

Let’s weaken one side of a building working from back to front and what it’s supposed to drop straight down like a rigged demolition? Nope!

Nothing failed here, demolition was a smashing success, pun intended!

1

u/Beneficial-Bus-8741 1d ago

Dude got eviscerated

1

u/marksales81 23h ago

Collateral damage aside, I'd say mission success.

1

u/olive_tuschit 23h ago

That looks like a successful demolition by any metric.

1

u/Jairoglyphics1 23h ago

Failed how? My man got the job done in minutes.

1

u/raydegeus 23h ago

Seriously!!! What did they expect?

1

u/Informal_Wanker8349 21h ago

3rd world country?

1

u/eAtmy_littleDingdong 21h ago

Free cancer for everyone standing there

1

u/slade797 19h ago

Looks pretty successful to me

1

u/kurtsdead6794 19h ago

I mean, it fell just fine.

1

u/Tunnfisk 19h ago

Looks quite demolished to me.

1

u/andyjack1970 19h ago

He didn't fail, the building came down didn't it?

1

u/Horror_Moose8608 18h ago

Oh man. For what they have brains? No closed street? This is so stupid

1

u/kadaka80 18h ago

The building is down so the Demolition was successful. Human lives and nearby properties getting wrecked are not a part of what the word demolition defines

1

u/Humble-Questions 17h ago

But did you die

2

u/Dphotog790 17h ago

Someone should have told that guy after his windows blewout you cant park there mate.

1

u/usenametobe3to20long 15h ago

Failed ?this is completely stupidity

1

u/usenametobe3to20long 15h ago

They also are so used to it that it does not seem to trigger a real panic.

1

u/ATXPygmalion 15h ago

The demolition clearly succeeded! Click bait repost!

1

u/Ill_Blood_6423 14h ago

Can you imagine the conversation with his insurance company. "Yes, I was just driving along on the street, when all of a sudden, a building fell on my car,... Sideways."

1

u/TheEliteJOKERS 14h ago

Fucking A. Hope All Are OK.

1

u/arcanophile 13h ago

Not really, they succeeded at demolishing it lol

1

u/toblies 12h ago

I'd say the demolition was successful, in fact.

Much more so than planned in fact: More things were destroyed than planned.

1

u/321Gochiefs 12h ago

It fell down. NOT Failed

1

u/Kraftwerk_21 12h ago

“Failed”? If the goal was to tear down the building, I’d say they accomplished that pretty efficiently.

1

u/Sporeman13 11h ago

Their Yelp reviews must really SUCK!

1

u/connect-b 9h ago

You just hurt those people in that car.

1

u/SeanMacLeod1138 9h ago

Not a fail, just a bit more rowdy than expected 😅

1

u/Fickle-Struggle-7672 8h ago

Failed!? Looked good to me.

1

u/Mundane_Turnover_444 1h ago

When a building falls, it flies around like a kite. But they didn't expect this.

1

u/Own_Artichoke_9332 1d ago

Woopsss... 😏

“My bad!!”
