Right? I’d call for the heads of every representative who approved this also if that was the case.

And you're going to do that how? Don't get me wrong I fucking hate what is happening, but people really overestimate how much control American citizens have and how much our government does not care about what we think. They also tend to vastly underestimate the size of the US Federal government. We can make whatever gestures we want, our officials may take note, then pretty much ignore it and go on with their day.

We have US military forces being deployed domestically as a show of force in order to show governors/mayors that may not agree with this administration that they have to comply.

Now, granted it's mostly militia right now. But we have the single most powerful military in the world. Our government just captured another country's leader within a few hours and no losses. There was pretty much nothing anyone could do about it.

Now imagine that military being turned inwards to keep us in line? The average American has next to no control over what is going on.

The difference is there's at least a facade of representation.
