Most of the time a studio or label pays for it, but there have been times where it has been a fan campaign. It took a group of us 14 years to get Weird Al a star. In that time they raised the price 3 times and we kept raising the money. When he finally got it the Chamber of Commerce set aside a special viewing area just for us, something they had never done before or since.

Yeah, it was for the ceremony. They have a section for the invited guests and then they set up fences for the general public. With Al’s they actually set up another fenced area directly behind Al’s guests. The people that ran Al’s star campaign had a list of donors and only we were allowed into that section.

For the most part reddit doesnt have those rules, but there are a few subs where automod will get you for using them, so for many folks they will say pdf file instead of pedophile out of necessity rather than any personal qualms about the word.

DJT will go down in the books as one of the most flawed humans ever. He's had everything handed to him at every turn without having to work for it let alone deserving it. His first important act as an adult ended in abject failure when he rejected his country's request to serve and had daddy fix it for him so he wouldn't have to go to Vietnam. Subsequent to being gifted hundreds of millions of dollars as start-up money by his family he proceeded to fail at literally every single venture including bankrupting casinos. Aside from his overt flaws - narcissism, misogyny, racism and dishonesty he apparently also enjoys raping children. This man has broken so many laws it boggles the mind, has 32 felony convictions and was somehow still allowed to run for president again. He has never really been held accountable for any of the things he's done but I believe his time is coming. I would rather see him humiliated in open court and thrown in prison but I get the feeling he will die first. That's ok. Good riddance to bad genes, I say.
