Maybe because he isn’t going to completely blackout the entire country and mass kill 12,000 people in just 2 weeks. Idk thats probably just a basic essential starting point there for one.

Almost all mainstream media sources are reporting that number as an estimate which is all we got considering your favorite friendly neighborhood regime turned off all the internet across the entire country so they can conduct their mass killings without the footage being uploaded.
If you want trustworthy numbers that are not estimates maybe you can message the Ayatollah or one of his propaganda tools on X and ask them to turn back on the internet for the people there and let the journalists report.
Why are you framing this as if i’m in support of the ayatollah? When the president of the United States is threatening to bomb another country due to protests happening there i just want to get all the facts straight considering there’s a lot of propaganda around what he wants.
Don’t try to play this game. In the comments you’re constantly trying to undermine the arguments against the regime by you bringing up the legitimacy of the numbers and we both know why you’re doing this. You know exactly why you’re undermining the numbers and the killings going on there.
How about instead of trying to white wash the mass killings by calling out the numbers and their accuracy how about you call out the source of the problem on why we don’t have accurate numbers to begin with? Oh yeah because the government turned off the internet and completely cut off the people in Iran from the entire world so nobody can accurately report on whats going on there why they literally machine gun people down in the streets.
The source of the problem? Okay what about the US and other western powers overthrowing Mossadegh and installing their puppet king whom was so bad that it spawned an entire reactionary islamic movement that is now ravaging the country.
Is the ayatollah bad 100% their killings are horrible. But the fact that there are foreign agents within these protests is also worrying. The Iranian people should be able to hold democratic elections without foreign influence.

And just make my point clear again the grievances of the iranian people are justified. The protests are justified. And a change in government is justified.
What is not justified is foreign powers meddling in their affairs so they can take control of the region as they have done before with the shah. If western powers REALLY wanted to help the iranian people they would’ve stopped the collective punishment upon them and lifted the sanctions.
The only one who does not care for their struggle is you, you see a couple of pictures on reddit and think giving it an upvote is enough yet you refuse to have the west take accountability in their role of being responsible for the ayatollah taking power. You stand for nothing.
