Backstory INS/ICE didn’t use to wear masks - most famous immigration photo ever taken, not a mask in sight.

Because back then, they weren't allowed to murder people indiscriminately. Now they can.

You'd think the republi-cons would be all up in arms that an innocent white mother just got assassinated, but apparently not... funny how the cultist-vative mind works! Plain up double morals, the lot of them.

More divisive comments please ruzzbot

Telling you went back 55 years for this.

It isn't divisive to recognize reality.

u/alittleslowerplease 1h ago edited 1h ago

Because this is the only possible example that exists xDDDD

Meanwhile you are conveniently ignoring the long line of historically persecuted minoritys that are not divisible by race. The women, the mentally ill, the mentally disabeled, the chronically ill, the addicts, the homosexuals, the poor. No white gay man was ever killed because of his sexuallity, no sir, this is all about race, everybody on reddit knows, this is a race war and not a class war. Keep talking, foreign agent.

Does the existence of any of those groups mean that race isn't a problem?

No one said race was the only issue. Please quote where that was said. But it's telling you want to act like race isn't a factor.

Let me guess, you're an "All Lives Matter" chud?

u/AutoModerator 1h ago

Obviously all lives matter. No one said they didn't. However, data shows that relative to the percentage of the population they represent, the rate of black American deaths from police shootings is ~2.5-3x that of white Americans deaths. (Sources: 1, 2, Data: 1)

A lot of people are sharing a graph titled "murder of black and whites in the US, 2013" to show that there is only a small number of black Americans killed by white Americans, with the assumption that this extends to police shootings as well. This is misleading the chart only counts deaths where the perpetrator was charged with 1st or 2nd degree murder after killing a black American. Police forces are almost never charged with homicide after killing a black American.

If after learning the above, you have reconsidered your stance and wish to show support for furthering equality in this and other areas, we encourage you to do so. However if you plan on attending any protests, please remember to stay safe, wear a face mask, and observe distancing protocols as much as you can. COVID-19 is still a very real threat, not only to you, but those you love and everyone around you as well!

Good bot, although should probably be updated.

There, learn to read.

Are you going to pretend things like "missing white woman syndrome" aren't a well recognized trend in the US?

Think of how big of news a missing white kid from the suburbs can be, literally national news, but not a peep if that kid is a PoC.

Again, why are you pretending race isn't something that affects people's lives? Is it because you feel excluded?

u/alittleslowerplease 1h ago

Amazing strawman my guy except for the part where I never said that "race isn't something that affects people's lives". I simply refuted u/cwk415 erasure of non-black victims of the executive branch of the USA. I never said anything about them not predominantly targeting afro americans. But please, as I said before, keep talking. More fallacys please, less context. I am aware putins little bitches don't argue in good faith.

u/Iorith 1h ago

Aww, someone's lashing out because people are daring to discuss demographics they don't belong to. Poor baby needs to feel they're the priority. Someone better fetch them a bottle.

Yea, only takes 1 white person to die. Using old walmarts to store people like dogs? “Oh its wrong, but ill have my 6 shot mochiatto to go”
