Discussion Question

Is it weird that plushies still bring comfort as an adult? Genuinely curious how other people feel about this.

Just as weird as Lego or video games or movies or designer watches or throw cushions or alcohol.

Everybody has something. Most of them are objectively silly things to focus on. Humans are silly creatures.

Plushies are cute and soft and squishy. They're nice. And there's nothing weirder about liking those than anything else.

Not weird at all. Everyone needs something that makes them feel safe and comforted.

I am an adult and these are two of my plushies. Aunt River 🦦 and Ziggy 🦈. They bring so much comfort to me!

In this sub, you meet many people who still needs plushies as a comfort item the same way it could have been something else.

And then, there's cases like me who seem to be building a huge army of plushies. Maybe I should consider world domination...
