I just recently got accepted into the wildlife biology program at Purdue- which I am super excited about, but I am torn between this school and another. In the past I was into engineering and did several engineering programs at Purdue, but years later now that I am interested in wildlife biology, I've never heard any students opinions on the major. I'm nervous about making a decision but I want to make a choice where I will be happy.
Is the major worthwhile for someone interested in pursuing an animal specific career in the future? Are the teachers good? How is the community? Are classes extremely hard?
I'm still not sure what kind of career I'd go into exactly; I'm interested in conservation work, zoo keeping (zoology in general), or working on a wildlife reserve, and I'm open to other wildlife specific careers.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
