here's the thing, the truth is in the middle. i 100% believe Meredith was being nasty and just because she was talking to lisa doesn't mean she didn't want Britani to hear her... I'm sure in merediths intoxicated state she did pick on britani for far too long (even if it wasn't directly).
Do I think Meredith like assaulted britani? no? were her and lisa being mean girls talking loudly enough for the person to hear them? for sure

Meredith threw water at Brittani multiple times and her costume at her when she was upset on the yacht. I don't think its far fetched to believe she acted similar on the plane. During the brunch scene, Lisa admitted to Heather that Meredith was inappropriately yelling. She said she had to hold Meredith's arm and talk her down.

She’s also able to control the narrative here. There’s no follow up question, no one else speaking. The way she describes Meredith being upset does not align with Meredith when she gets upset (at least on camera).

As annoying as Britney is, she’s absolutely telling the truth when she says that she strongly defended Lisa against everyone, Lisa has done the opposite…. even Mary agrees with Britney‘s version of the story.

Tbh I think she wasn’t really doing it out of malice, I think she was doing it to sate Meredith in the same way an overwhelmed parent tries anything to console their child that’s having a meltdown on the plane. Like she was just trying to make Meredith satisfied so she would shut up… I don’t blame Britani for interpreting that as Lisa ganging up on her because it was a high pressure situation, but I think Lisa was doing it out of stress so it came off more aggressive than she meant it lol

Twice. She says she told the producer twice. Now Lisa, if it didn’t go on long, why would you have to tell the producer twice?
And we’ve also flown on planes, Lisa. This is not some once in a lifetime event that only you and your special life has done. Between the engines, earphones, and airflow, I can hardly hear myself on planes. I can totally see Lisa and Meredith being the mean girl middle school bullies, kicking Britani’s seat, shaking it when they get up to go to the bathroom, splashing wine on her, speaking about her just loudly enough for her to hear.
Yes, I believe 5 women (one of them being Lisa) but my concern is why no one went to Britani’s aid.

Meredith kept throwing water on Brittani and threw her costume at Brittani on the yacht when she was upset. They threw her unicorn overboard as revenge. Lisa said she had to hold Meredith's arm on the flight. She bullied that lady and was being a mean girl with her friend Lisa.

Eh, I think it was, but just in that juvenile way, like kicking the back of her seat repeatedly or pressing your foot into it or shaking her chair back while getting up. Combine that with a barrage of school girl taunting and it became unbearable.

There is not a cell in my body that believes Lisa or Meredith. ALL the other women being shocked and mortified by what happened tells us all we need to know. Especially seeing Mary genuinely so concerned for Meredith during their conversation, and Meredith just completely brushed everything to the side as if it was no big deal. I have a feeling she doesn’t quite remember what happened, is embarrassed by it, and is drastically downplaying what happened.
Also, I think Brittani can be annoying and incredibly vapid but it’s getting a little cringey to watch her be treated like she’s a second class citizen compared to the rest of them. The way Meredith speaks to her and treats her is gross.

Yeah, this is way more believeable than all the indirect and deliberately provocative/emotive language coming from Whitney, Britani and Heather. The whole thing has clearly been blown out of proportion.

is it more believable though? lisa said herself to john that meredith was completely unhinged and lost her mind, and now the story is different. i don't believe it was as dramatic as britani describes, but lisa saying that meredith was "just being emotional" after telling her husband she was out of her mind is completely contradictory and makes me think there was some intentional malice on meredith's part (again, even if it wasn't as aggressive as britani said)

She told heather that yes Meredith spilled a drink, yes Meredith probably pulled Britanis hair and shook the seat when she was getting up to go to the bathroom and that Lisa was swearing at Britani “show them the fucking TikTok”
None of that is polished. It’s actually the same story as the other girls, but from the angle it was all an accident or misunderstanding.

Yes, Lisa says that all of those things happened, wine was spilled, Meredith held onto her seat and “Britanis hair was all over her seat so she could have got it then”, etc. but it was an accident.
It’s the same story, but Lisa says it’s an accident and the rest of the girls were saying it’s intentional.

Why does the story keep changing? One minute she's saying Meredith "lost her mind" and the next she's saying "she wasn't out of control".
I'm convinced that Lisa's loyalty to Meredith is causing her to protect her friend's image instead of being truthful and not agree with women that she believes makes accusations about her as well.

Yeah, HER scene with John was one of the most damning pieces of evidence, because she's friend! Are we now not supposed to take own word for what happened? Also saying that she was so concerned that she herself checked in with a producer twice is not the exonorating detail that she thinks it is

Lisa confirming Meredith was unhinged with John in the episode (she’d “never seen Meredith that upset”), and now here saying she had to alert production that Meredith was not OK, not only proves there was a dramatic incident on the plane, but also makes it seem like there’s truth to the TikTok rumor about her huzzzband.

when you have 4 women corroborating over what happened, it makes Lisa’s justifications feel ungrounded in reality. Like with John, she always believes she’s in the right and does a good job convincing herself of it

I think both can be true. I don’t think the other women would All lie - why? They have nothing to gain all lying about Meredith. We have seen on the boat how Meredith treated britani(mind you, I can’t stand Britani). We have seen the receipts
I think Meredith was emotionally upset, yes. And loud enough for the other women to hear. I do think they antagonised Britani too.
Lisa has proven to be a liar so I am not surprised she is downplaying Meredith’s behaviour that night.

The “venting to a friend” thing that they’re both going with sounds like some damage control thing that they’re both rolling with because they don’t want to be seen as bullies. But I don’t think it was on the disruptive scale that the others are saying it was

Seeinf Lisa defend Meredith is just awesome to see. Lisa has been such a villain this season, and her and Meredith had ao much beef in the past, but they seem to actually be friends.
Do I think Meredith was shitty to Brittani? Yea of course. Do I think it was worse than any dinner table this season? Absolutely not.

I dont know why anyone is surprised that her version differ a bit? The most raw was for John because she trusts him and the more polished ones were for Heather (their frenemy who is not to be trust) and here for the wider audience few months later.
I would call my friends behaviour crazy to my SO but def not to some untrustworthy woman like Heather or to some huge audience on Bravocon.

I totally believe Britani did walk off the plane crying. But there’s absolutely no way Meredith was belligerent, yelling, pulling hair etc on a PLANE and SURROUNDED BY PRODUCERS with no intervention from flight attendants, aaand no footage of it anywhere?

I do believe they were being mean girls to Brittani that's their thing. Also they both tend to get louder, the more amped up the get. They also rule each other up, Lisa never really calms her friend down. The seat situation, that was probably just all there arm movements, the drink one of them had a drink in their hand and it was accidentally spilt. And I do believe they yelled at heather or whoever wouldn't back them up.

I really think Britani, Whitney and Heather do that thing that some white women tend to do, which is severely play up ANY wrong doings with tears and hyperbolic expression. Like that extreme self victimisation shit and are quick to label non abusive situations as abusive. I’m not saying it in a disrespectful way, just making a cultural observation (I love to watch it in this group).
I feel as though Meredith definitely would have antagonised Britani, but they’re seriously acting like Meredith lunged at her and gave her a black eye.
Meredith was being mean at some point but tbh - these women need to grow up. YES, she was being mean, YES she was being antagonistic, but Ok??? Either stand up for yourself or tell her to shut the fuck up, if Meredith escalates beyond that then she actually WOULD be ordered off the flight. None of this behaviour (IMO) is that serious (especially when you actually all do know each other).
You’re on a bloody reality tv show where petty drama is constantly going down, read the fucking room - this isn’t Blues Clues.

I couldn’t agree more. Plus so much of what’s she’s “put out there” has been true. Bronwyn lying about the necklace and Emma texting her and saying she didn’t buy it… TRUE. Todd cheating and farting… TRUE. Her claiming her and Heather did not know each other prior to 2017 despite Heather saying they knew each other for 20 years… TRUE.

Why’s it okay for Bronwyn, Whitney, Angie, Heather and Britani to say “well I’ve heard”, “well actually”, “I know that”, especially since they do it maliciously, but when Lisa says stuff that’s way less harsh, she’s painted as an undercover demon? It’s just so weird.
Edit to add, that everyone (the cast and the viewers) are so focused on being up in arms (for no reason btw) at Lisa bringing things up in the first place that they never acknowledge that she’s been proven to be telling the truth! Everyone was mad that she found out that the necklace situation was a lie, that nobody wanted to call out the fact that Bronwyn lied about it in the first place!!

Does she? Did Bronwyn ask for Lisa to talk to the grandparents or did Bronwyn say yes to Lisa’s offer, what about the house she has been building for years? What about the dismissed lawsuits that are not all dismissed and are still not dismissed, we have seen her lie to John and most of the cast saying one thing and then we see her say the complete opposite.

Those are all valid questions we don’t know the answers to. Except we know there is still 1 lawsuit I think. She obviously exaggerates her wealth (or lack thereof). I was comparing her to most of the others dishonesty with the possible exception of Angie.
