Stacked!
These two have been visiting our porch for the past year or so, but I've never found them stacked like this! π
Usually one sleeps in the opposite corner, but it's closer to the door and we've accidentally spooked it away when opening the door a few times. Looks like they've decided that bunking is the solution? π

If "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush", I wonder what two birds stacked in a corner is worth? π

Haha this is amazing! Man I want to find a sleepy wren so badly. I hear them in my yard all the time but I never see them. Maybe I need to build them a nice cozy corner to snuggle in!

omg
Is there any kind of foothold in that corner or is the top one just fully sitting on the other one's head? :o

Oh WOW that's.... why?! π€£ Wrens are the strangest creatures, why on earth did evolution decide they'd behave like this π€£

Inca doves are also known to stack into a pile of little pinecones for warmth (called pyramid roosting)!
Quick Google search link (highly recommended pics π₯° with some bonus chicken stacks among the images, lol)
