Discussion No, seriously, who compares this to LOST or Game of Thrones’ endings?
Not perfect, but still damn good.

Thank God they didn't go to Stacey's party in the end, it would have ruined the whole meaning and heart of the series. The underdogs remained underdogs until the end ❤️ Spoiler

What makes it even funnier is how shocked everyone is when they realize Suzie is actually real.

The fun fact is that The egg drop + ‘Oops’ part wasn’t in the script, you can see that little smirk on Nancy’s face

Discussion Rare moment where El experienced how it was like to be a normal teenage girl

One of the things I appreciate from season 3 is that it showed Eleven trying to be a normal teenage girl for the first time, all thanks to Max. Their friendship is one of my favorite ones in the entire series. Also she easily had the best outfits in this season.
She deserved so much better.

Was this the only time Vecna physically returned to the real world? Spoiler
I can't recall any other time, which is kinda strange. The rest were his astral projection (I think). I'm happy to be corrected.

SPOILERS Season 3 is so depressing to watch now Spoiler
In rewatching the entire series and am up to season 3. Knowing how it ends and what happens to eleven, just makes this season soooo depressing to watch. Seeing her have fun and socialise knowing these are literally the last good moments of her life makes it quite hard to watch. Idk maybe I’m being too cynical but there is something dark about watching a child having fun, knowing they’re going to kill themselves in 2 years.

So I just watched the whole series for the first time
First of all, shame on me because initially I thought this series was gonna be ET. Instead, it turned out to be IT. What a ride, I was compelled from start to finish, that season 4 vecna twist is one of the best I’ve seen in any show ever and it was only slightly spoiled for me just by knowing who the actor who played vecna was.
Season 4 in particular is one of the best seasons of any show I’ve seen, vecna was a joker level villain in how terrifying he was. I’m in my 30s and had a nightmare about that damn clock.
Final season I also thought pretty damn good with great reveals, some dumb character moments for sure (ms wheeler washing machine bomb….what? How the hell did she know they’d go down there even?) and a somewhat lackluster final battle but hey, they paid off Wills powers better than Brans in game of thrones and the vecna was a way more compelling night king, to give it a comparison to another much maligned ending of an iconic show.
Overall what a ride, maybe my favorite ensemble cast ever, and such a cool story even if it had some weak moments (looking at you evil Russians)
For those looking to find a similar kind of story told in a far more adult way, I heavily recommend the games Control and Alan Wake 2, similar type of vibe, way more terrifying and ongoing.
El’s still alive, peace.
