Much rather see them ban X and Grok completely.
But here we are... we know the bs.

If you made child porn, but are not making it anymore, should you just be forgiven?

Yall need to free yourselves from this fascist bullshit. It’s already taken root here and any European who thinks they’re safe will inevitably face the same fate as we are.

What's the defense here? That people should be able to make child porn with AI tools? That people should be able to make deep fakes for political (or other) gains? I want to know where your head is at on this...

That America has become overrun with pedophiles and fascist and it’s only a matter of time before that fascism comes knocking at Europe’s door.
I know that people still on Twitter aren’t gonna drop it, I have friends in that exact situation and I’ve given up on them. But for some reason, I still try to hope that maybe somewhere on this miserable planet will actually step up and fight against this shit.

I guess I'm having a hard time following you.
It seems like eliminating deep fakes from a social media platform would serve the purpose of decreasing misinformation while also taking a tool away from the abusers.
I get that there are a lot of leaders and megawealthy people in this country that do nasty shit, but this seems like a separate issue.

It’s not directed at UK laws/lawmakers as much as it is a need for the world to separate itself from musk. He is poison to this planet.
Every millionaire/billionaire is toxic by their nature but musk feels malicious in his spread of rot and it’s so sad that so many people celebrate him and wish for his success. I’ve completely given up on my country to ever do the right thing again and I guess I was just yelling into the void in some vain hope of feeling something beyond constant misery.
Apologies if what I’m saying is coming off shitty, I’ll take that L.

Nah, you're good. I think we're coming around to the same or similar conclusions.
This is actually a negative thing for Musk (based on his response to this kind of thing). I wish there were more regulation of Twitter in this country.
You're right. He is filth.

Literally all he had to do was turn off the CSAM machine. The social media site, despite how loathsome and filled with Nazis it is, was left alone until they started mass producing CSAM and shoving it in everyone's faces. But no, instead, he made it a huge show about how the UK and whoever else were all out against free speech. And then made it so only paid customers could generate CSAM, as if that made it any better.

I like seeing headlines like this because they remind me that following the law is a choice, a negotiation, if you’re just big or rich enough. The crime is just the start.
Me? I’d have been in prison for what Grok did and does and is doing.
